Breathing issues

So a little history before I ask my question.
When I was born, I had ingested some liquid (amniotic fluid, I'm guessing?) as I was being born. And to get it out, the doctors mistakenly put an adult tube down my throat instead of an infant/child's sized tube to get the stuff out or whatever (As far as I've been told). This essentially damaged my throat/trachea/etc., and caused me to be in the NICU, and I almost died because of it. (my parents, thankfully, sued the hospital and won). Within those first few weeks/months of infancy, I wasn't able to eat much because I would choke on the milk whenever my mum fed me. I eventually started getting better little by little, but my breathing issues never went away.
That incident is, to my knowledge, the main reason why I've had breathing issues all of my life.
I still have trouble breathing after any form of exercise (it was worse as a child than it is now. It's also more my throat area having trouble than anything else), but it goes away after a few minutes of resting. I've often had people ask if it is asthma, and I've had to essentially tell them the story each time.

What I've been trying to see is if there's anything in my natal chart that might possibly indicate breathing problems.

I've read that Taurus rules the throat, but I don't see anything in my chart relating to that. Gemini also is supposed to rule the trachea, I believe. And I have Chiron in Gemini, so would that possibly indicate breathing issues since it might suggest some sort of wound relating to areas that are ruled by Gemini?
And if I'm reading this correctly, my moon aspects chiron as well (a square). Could that possibly indicate it?

Any help would be more than welcome.

Re: Breathing issues

(Following contains several statements which might not be generally accepted in conventional Western astrological practice)

I only use whole sign house format in astrology. Briefly considering the reference natal chart in whole sign format:
+Aquarius is on the 2nd house (throat area anatomically); Aquarius ruled by Saturn, which planet is posited in the 12th house of restrictions and limitations: so that's a connection (2nd house = throat and organs of throat = Aquarius-which is a fixed AIR sign=Saturn in 12th house of restictions and limitations) Note also that Saturn itself is affinitive to "constrictions" of all sorts, the exact opposite of Jupiter (which is connected with "expansions" of all sorts)
+6th whole sign house (of health) under Gemini (Gemini including lungs and respiration in general among its affinities): shows respiration likely to be a "big deal" to the native inhealth matters; Lilith (a "junior" Dragon's Tail disruptive influence) posited in the 6th house in Gemini; certainly casts a pall over Gemini-affinitive health issues
+Jupiter, significator of all types and varieties of "expansion" is retrograde: could indicate difficulties in "expansion" or "expanding", such as the normal expansions incident on activities like swallowing, breathing (expanding the lungs) etc
+Saturn also rules the ascending sign of Capricorn: so this might indicate an original extra susceptibility to remote (long lasting) effects from the type of accident involving the throat which occured just after birth (notice that Saturn is posited in Sagittarius-according to Charles Carter's statistical researches* Sagittarius is the most accident prone sign of the zodiac; and this case seems to stem from an accident near the time of birth)

Re: Breathing issues

Thanks for the response!
I don't think I thought about using equal house before for this. This is definitely interesting.

Re: Breathing issues

Gemini/mercury rules the 6th (Equal house) and mercury is positied there in cancer - emotional sensitive cancer. So I'm not at all surprised with breathing issues. Medical astrology is quite a specialised branch, and I'm no expert in this field....

now also look to part of fortune for health matters
POF
http://www.astrotherapy.eu/ParsFortunae.htm
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-5210.html

“However, in the case of both significations one must keep in mind that no one indication in the chart, not even the Part of Fortune, can be taken by itself as a total indicator of any area of life. For health one must also look at the Ascendant, its ruler, the Moon and its ruler. Also the sixth and eighth houses as indicators of illness and death respectively have strong indications for health. For material prosperity one should also look at the second house, the tenth house, and their rulers.”
http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_fortune_e.htm

“The fortune indicated by this part is not necessarily materialistic or even tangible, though it can be. It depends on the sign and house location of the Part of Fortune. The benefit can be on the physical, intellectual, emotional, and/or spiritual plane of experience. In all cases it is through the cultivation and expression of this point that one will experience harmony and a sense of well-being.”
http://www.astroresources.com/fortune.htm

“The Part of Fortune represents worldly success, and is associated with the physical body and health as well. It can be indicative of the career or vocation. Worldly success and prosperity are associated with the Part of Fortune, and both its sign and house placement suggests innate abilities and talents--areas of life and qualities that are expressed naturally.”

just found a site for calculating this and many more Parts or Lots --

then look at what cancer rules in the body - isn't it chest area?
then look at midpoints involving mercury. Is there a planet (an outer espec) on a midpoint...

midpoints
I have my chart ruler Uranus conj Sun/moon midpoint and mercury conj Asc/MC midpoint. These two are the most important as far as midpoints go. They can be very sensitive points, espec to progressions, transits and solar arcs. To watch/research how these points play out make a note of the degree for example my sun/moon = 3' 05" taururs, but any at that degree in 'fixed' will be considered same as conj, square or opposition. Same with Asc/MC being 'outlet or exit points' for planets energies. So although I have mercury retrograde natally, having this conj Asc/MC I've always known that communications, written, verbal, relating, analysing are important to me but in practical way (taurus merc)

The orb has to be very tight 1’ or max 1’30” to be effective though
