Planet practically on sign boundary

Have a horoscope where in a matter of a few hours the sign would change from Leo to Virgo.

I have a book "Aspects and Personality" by Zondag, which on page 30 says that there is a very clear cut boundary between between the signs.

Just wondering, anybody have any personal experiences on this? In this case it is the sun. Is the sun really purely Leo with nothing from Virgo?

Thanks...

Planets in last degree receives special treatment called Planets in "Anaretic Degrees". Some places, it could be referred as planets in "Critical Degrees".

Planets in first three degrees are sort of child, not enough experience/strength, but a lot of excitement. Planets in last three degrees are sort of old, having lots of experience but not enough strength or not enough energy to use the experience. Both are sort of weakness of planet.

Many astrologers experience crystal clear demarcation of Signs. It is like change in color of light at intersection - Green -> Yellow -> Red -> Green. At one time only one color is present.

In Western Astrology the clear demarcation is so clear that you won't find people in disagreement.

Vedic and Western differ by about 24 degrees.

In Vadic there are differences. I personally use two - "Lahiri" for Mahadasa and "KP" for house cusps. Although the difference is just of 00 degree 06 seconds. Raman differs from Lahiri about 01 degree and 27 seconds. It is fairly common for Astrologers to hold their opinion, what to use.

There are many other systems of Astrology with different demarcation - as as example the rising 13 ... You know what.

I am very close to someone with their mars at 27degrees 57 minutes aquarius. He definately has the aquarius and the pisces energy. ALOT. He has no other planets in aquarius or pisces either. It is interesting.

You cant have a planet in two signs. My mother was 0 degrees Gemini Sun and still a Gemini for instance....Every sign is very different and no blurring of the boundaries is valid. If a planet aspects another planet in a different sign. ie. Sun 28 degrees Leo conjunct Saturn 2 degrees Virgo it is a dissociated aspect and weaker than normal.

He has mars at say 28 Aquarius and manifests that.....But the Pisces energy as you perceive it may be coming from the 12th house or Neptune??? It may be just your perception as well. He cant have a lot of Pisces energy without the sign.....that doesnt make sense.

Re: Planet practically on sign boundary

Thanks for the feedback.

It is interesting that for the horoscope I am looking at, just a couple of hours causes a change in sign. A couple of hours later and the person would be Virgo. As is, the person is Leo, and definitely has the traits of Leo. The position of the sun in Leo is 29 degrees, 59 minutes, 5 seconds...

Just was interested in other people's experiences.

This person may be Neptunian, nonetheless. A Neptunian person doesn't need to have any planets in Pisces, just an active or powerfully aspected Neptune.

Re: Planet practically on sign boundary

okay....yes true. This friend has uranus in 12th. Also has venus(chart ruler) and mercury in close conjunction with neptune. And Jupiter is at a 8* conjunction with neptune too.
That explains that neptune pisces energy then.

1' onAsc = 4minutes in real time. This is why *time of birth * is so crucial. The sun changes signs at ver specific times, problem then becomes generally people don't know there exact time.

Using solar arc method for example, each planet can be moved or progressed by 1' for each year of your life. Now in secondary progressions, sun is same until mid thirties and starts to slow down. So if a sun is 29' Aquarius, then at age 2 will progress into pisces sun and become more restless, emotional, sensitive etc.
