Feeling an intense attraction.. Is it aspects of our charts?

Hi all,

Please bare with me I am somewhat new to astrology although it has always been an interest of mine and would love to pick your brians : ) I am a scorpio, moon in gemini, venus and mars in libra. I have had an instant/intense/odd attraction to a supervisor of mine. He is a sag sun, scorp moon, venus and mars in scorp. Now I know that alot of scorps are attracted to all things taboo, and given that he is about 12 yrs older than me and is considered somewhat of a boss... maybe part of it is just that but I am feeling some kind of connection that I think may mutual. Any help would be great. Here is the basics on our synestry:

It is hard to say without seeing the charts, but your sun conjunct his Venus/Mars probably sets off some fireworks. Also, with your Mercuries conjunct you probably find him very easy to talk to. Mars conjunct Pluto looks like the "forbidden fruit" part.

However from the aspects you describe...woww and wooww...
Overwhelming I can imagine.

Sun conjunct Venus, Venus trine Saturn, Venus conjunct Uranus and Mars conjunct Pluto all relate to a very strong attraction and sometimes rather sudden and out of the blue. Good timing and strong sexual and love attraction. ..

However a composite of both your charts will tell how the relationship will operate.

Wow, thank you both so much for your fast and interesting answers!! I tried to do all the digging I could do online and what I came up with was basic. I am struggling with the feeling of whether or not this attraction is all one sided on my part as he is quite shy around me but it seems like there are constant glances each others way. Seeing that it may jeopordize our professional relationship it may be awkward... I am not sure what to do in this situation. To tell you the truth its an attraction like I never had before so I thought that maybe its in our "stars" ahahaha. Either way, this is definately helping me get a better grasp of Synastry... what an interesting topic! You have nice inter-aspects between your suns and venuses. Very affectionate. Your Mars sextiles his sun, his Mars conjuncts your sun/Pluto. You excite one another. The moons are opposed--can mean you don't see eye-to-eye emotionally, but there is definitely a connection. His moon conjuncts your ascendant, though out-of-sign. BTW, with the noon default birth time, his moon could be in either early Sagittarius or late Scorpio.

One thing I notice with this man is his Mars conjunct Venus sextiling Jupiter--pretty sexy, to the extent that this can be the energy of, "If one GF is good, 3 are better." Shy or not shy.

If you both work for a large employer, there is probably some kind of policy on office romance. Oftentimes it doesn't mean you can't have a relationship, but the supervisor cannot make any judgments involving your career such as a performance evaluation. The unwritten policy is that office romances can cause hard feelings among your co-workers; and whatever the office politics might be where you work, a romance will throw both the good and bad into sharper relief. So if you care about your job and if this man is married with little kids at home or somesuch, probably best to think of him as the one that got away.

If it turns out he's available, fasten your seatbelt and make sure your seat back and tray tables are in their full upright and locked position.

GREAT advice! This is my first time really getting into synastry and there is so much to learn it is overwhelming. I would love to get the birth time but I am thinking that would be a little out of place hehehehe

I do get the impression he is single although I know he has a son who is in middle school. Interesting to know that the feelings might be a little bit beyond the whole fantasy of just wanting to sleep with the boss. We work in a research type setting, where he oversees staff work but has no authority over promotions/etc.

Funny you should say the whole thing about many lovers being equally better ... I have heard through a few that this may be the case with him. Maybe better off left alone but part of me wants to delve right in!! I've read about venus/uranus aspects being pretty powerful. Maybe that has something to do w/ it?

Either way, your help is immensely appreciated and inspiring me to learn more and more about astrology in general. Thanks!!

You are most welcome! Also, Scorpio is intense and fascinated by the taboo--but a Scorpio sun conjunct Pluto can also get extremely jealous--probably not something you need complicating your life. But what do I know--I'm a "detached" Aquarian!

You know his birth details but not his marriage status. You have looked at his work file I bet.... Venus Uranus can be electric but not stable. However you do have other good connections. None of these mean a thing if he is not available though......or a player..........only heartache..

Yes I agree with these comments......Obsession. control issues and sometimes even stalking.. NOt the aspects for a casual or extra mariital liaison for sure......

Could well be. Tapping into that Scorpio energy of taboo and secret sex could trigger off very intense influences that ultimately could be hard to handle... If he is free, well and good...but otherwise........I would be leaving it all well alone. Could be wide and deep ramifications not imagined......

I would say the Sun/Venus conjunct Uranus has much to do with it. I recommend Reading up on those aspects.


The guy who I'm into right now has his sun conjunct my uranus and it is hot hot hot but frustrating at times because the uranian energy is so unpredictable!

Scorpio moon people are always staring at people because they like to find out something about you but just be careful they could be so secretive that they won't tell anything about their private life. You have to be the one who must find out about his life. I am a scorpio moon and I am very attracted to scorpio sun people because they reflect what I am inside. I am always interested about them. First find out about him and then we can search more about him.

Thanks all for the info! This may be one of those better left as a fantasy.. but fun to think about at least, and great to hear that some of the connection could be due to this. You are right... scorpio w/ pluto in conjunct w/ sun can be a little obsessive, must be the gemini moon in me that keeps me from commiting or being obsessive for too long! hehe

Scorpio moon though (possibly) and venus in scorpio... this is one sexy man, whether or not he is non commital
