Well, he and I bumped heads (quite hard,too) but I appreciated his talent for horary very much. I have been wondering what happened to him, too. I wonder if Radu knows. He hasn't posted on another site he used to, either.

I don't know anything on Draco. I just checked, he didn't post anything on the Skyscript forum since July 2006, where he use to post also.
But I'm sure nothing bad happened to him, it's just a temp absence due to some personal life issues.

I've not been around here for a while as I have been busy with things such as a new job and a change of residence, but also, to tell you the truth, I started to become a bit skeptical of astrology.

You see, I had always been so sure that I was Pisces rising, until I discovered that my Ascendant is actually Aquarius. I had put such value in the thought of my being Pisces rising, and it seemed to make so much sense to me, that discovering that my supposed Ascendant was wrong, really had me questioning things. It seems to me, that you can tell somebody that thier Ascendant is anything, and they can find reasons as to how this is true. Hence why I went off astrology for a good while.

The funny thing is, when I discovered my appropriate Ascendant, I began to realise a lot of things about myself in a new context, and it coincided with many changes that began occuring in my life.

As it has been so long, there will be a lot that I have to relearn and get used to again, but I'll be posting from now on.

This has happened to me too, and many others I know, some time ago I was sure I had Scorpio rising and I was quite proud of it, but then a more or less official written record related to my birth was found which changed my ASC to Sagittarius.
Maybe this is a challenge on the path of self-discovery for many astrologers, they are given their real birth time when they are ready, probably only when they are ready to get a good grasp on what astrology is and the way it works.

What can I say, many congratulations to you on the occasion of advancing on the path of self-knowing ! No more dellusions and illusions (Pisces), it's time for even more astrology (Aquarius) !!!

I'd also like to quote a wonderful post you wrote in the thread ARIAN MAVRICK IM BAGGIN YOU N ASTROLOGY HELP ME!. Perhaps your own words may provide some comfort?

There isn't really such a thing as a 'wrong' chart. I believe that the chart that the former 'Aquarian' Maverick was working with at that time, reflected things which would benefit her understanding of herself at that particular time, according to the chart she obtained from the information she had about her birth then.

For example, since discovering a more appropriate astrological identity, this has opened her up to the opportunity, to discover things about herself and about astrology that she may not have ventured into otherwise. Learning about chart rectification with Radu for example, which has taught others amongst us also, yet this would not have occured had Mav not been in doubt about her Ascendant and questioned it in the first place. There will be many other paths that Mav has been urged along which will increase her understanding, that she may never have followed had it not been for her original chart. The bottom line is, everything happens for a reason, and every astrologer knows this and works alongside this principle.

Fundamental to astrological philosophy, is the notion of synchronicity, which means that anything that happens at any given moment in time, will express the particular qualities of that moment in time. Astrology is an attempt to dissect that moment, and lay it out like a cross-section in the form of a chart. The astrologer then explores the chart for symbolic meaning, in order to determine the significance of that symbolism in relations to one's life, one's query or an event.

There are many other method's one might utilise, to come to similar analyses of that moment in time, such as methods of sortilege like Tarot or runes for example, but there is no method of doing this more ancient, more sophisticated, or more phenomenal than astrology.
