Venus/Pluto Trines & Sextiles In Synastry

I know that if two people share any sort of venus/pluto connections, it can lead to a pretty intense relationship. I've read alot about the squares and conjucts on the web but what about the trines and sextiles? They aren't mentioned quite as often. So what would be the difference in feeling between the trine and sextile? Have you experienced either connection?

Also, what if both partners share this connection on each side? One has a trine and one has a sextile? Would each experience and feel a different sort of intensity because of the different connection?

Any help is much appreciated!

Ok, let me try this...has anyone else experienced a double whammy with venus/pluto and did you have the sextile and trine aspects? If so, how was it? What did it feel like and how did your partner feel and react?

Re: Venus/Pluto Trines & Sextiles In Synastry

Yes they are easier and can be very powerful and intense for sure. I would say even to healing each other in some way....I have Venus sextile Pluto and I like intense love affairs and need the strong emotional involvement. Not interested in a wishy washy connection at all. If I or anyone else has become obsessed then no harm has come from it and it was more easily handled and the jealousy was rather enjoyed. WIth the sextile and trine you can benefit from others financially as well. Usually like to delve into mysteries, the taboo and crime etc and life after death subjects. Often a secret love affair thrives or is not discovered to anyone's detriment.

The conjunctions can go either way depending on where and what sign they are in etc...

SYnastry is rather confusing and you may do better with a composite for an established relationship. I think the trine is the one that flows easiest with the energies involved whereas the sextile has more to be developed from a skill or lesson already learned.

Claire - So I've checked out our composite chart and we have a venus square pluto...

One thing that I noticed about our composite chart is that there is alot of cancer in it. Our sun, mercury, venus and mars are all in this sign. Not only that but mercury, venus and mars is in the 8th house. Our sun is in the 7th which is nice...what's a little confusing is we have all this cancer and a taurus moon but our rising is in scorpio??? does that seem strange at all? what do you think?

Re: Venus/Pluto Trines & Sextiles In Synastry

What people genereally tend to overlook with Pluto-Venus contacts is.....Beauty and the beast.Pluto is...
the enchantress...or enchantor. I've described this once as if your inside an empty, dark theatre in the dead of night, and when you step onto the stage, slowly, carefully, the reflectors suddenly come on.and your blinded. It's shinny, new, exciting, but the seats are all empty...there is no public...so who's turning on the lights,fi your all alone? And you stare and blink in the light and twinkle your eyes because it's a bit tad bright and you don't know who's watching you,and from where. You feel explosed, and despite how echanting and aluring it is,you feel threatened. Also, when I think of a Venus-Pluto contact what comes to my mind is....You know the fairy tale about the boy with the flaut who used to play his instrument so good little children were drawn to it and they followed him around, enchanted by his melody?Long ago,I watched a documentary and they said that the fairy tale was actually based on a true story..of a boy,who used to put some sort of opium scent in the flaut that he played,so,when he played it actually the flaut sent of that intoxicating sent so the little children were entranced really, following him,up until he happyily made them follow him into the woods to a certain cave where he killed them. Somehow that is the feel of Venus and Pluto, because Pluto has two natures.
One,it's the enchantress/ magician, the benevolent patron of Venus if you will, the big bad protector, echanting Venus, whispering things in her ear, alluring her, making her feel so exposed,so naked, but so safe in Pluto's arms, and when you first take a bite of the Venus-Pluto,it really feels like that-the Pluto person understands you the best, the Pluto person is unlike any other,he enchanted you and entagled you in his web, nobody knows or understands you like the Pluto person does, and for some reason you feel exposed, and like you have a dark cloak ( him,or her )around you that protects you from any harm. The Pluto treats you like his little gem stone,in a way.

But More than the love for Venus...Pluto loves control.

and when Venus feels ( in the end ) too smothered by Pluto's ''love'' that's Venus starts to feel edgy-she wants to get away,be free, because in it's essence the way they love is in two different ways= Venus threw beauty, harmony, tolerance, Pluto in getting in your mind, deep, intense, strog, inclusive,so their love natures are in essence incompatible and hence why they are attracted to each other-Pluto to the beauty he wishes to see in himself ( and probably does have, just it's in the dark ) and Venus to the seductive darkness, because nobody ever stripped her before...like that.

But then,Pluto's second nature starts to play, when Venus gets away. He is no longer her dark knight that will be there for her-in Pluto's mind,Venus can't leave, because, didn't Venus know that once she said she was his she belonged to him? When she said ''forever together''.... it's forever together.

But Pluto isn;t doing this out of malice-he deeply loves Venus, and is..afraid. Yes,big dark brooding, misterious is afraid, afraid of loosing his shinny gem, because he needs it-he doesn't want to be left alone in the dark, and Venus brings him joy. It's just that, because of the nature of the two,Pluto can't express fear of abandonment in a healthy, gentle way0in stead, pluto would get self defensive, anrgy, mean, using violent ( or just pushy ) methods to make Venus stay, and Venu'ses enhantor becomes her beast.

anyone remember the scene when the Beast locked Belle in her room after she agreed to stay with him in his dark castle, and she told him she doesn't want to be there? Or the scene when she says she is not hungry and doesn't wish to eat and he goes '' you will eat with me and that's final!! '' ...Or when he tells her to get out of the castle and roars and breaks things when she runs down the stairs, but when they show him in his room he covered his face with his hands, and latter defended her when the wolfs attacked her... but when she tried to heal his wounds he turns angry and snappy?

Basically...it is a unique, twisted love. Pluto loves Venus, but Venus needs to understand that Pluto can't express emotions like him/her because he/she fears loosing control, and someone leaving you is just that...=loosing control, over your emotions, yourself, and Pluto does not like to feel exposed.

I do believe these relationships can turn into something powerful if both of the people ( especially whoever has the more Pluto in his chart ) are mature, otherwise jealousy, jumping at each others throats are a possibility.

Venus needs to understand Pluto better though.

Re: Venus/Pluto Trines & Sextiles In Synastry

Arijana - thank you for the incredible post! It was a really awesome interpretation! Both our synastry chart and composite chart has positive aspects for the venus/pluto connection. As to who feels it more? I'm not sure because the degrees are so close. In our synastry, my venus trines his pluto at 0 degrees and his venus sextiles my pluto at 2 degrees. Even our composite shows a venus square pluto at 1 degree....so it is rather interesting...

One thing I know is that it's a very interesting double whammy on the synastry chart and another similar aspect on the composite...

What do you guys think?

Re: Venus/Pluto Trines & Sextiles In Synastry

Hi,
I exactly had a trine and sextile Venus/Pluto with my summer affair in the states. His Venus trine my Pluto and my Venus sextile his Pluto. I felt so close to him, it has been 5 years now and I still feel like stalking him and I actually stalk his girl-friend's facebook account and his friends'. I am pretty obsessed with him and my mind went crazy when I saw him and his girl friend's photos which they were kissing. I think venus/pluto aspects are pretty great while two people are together but when one side leaves or you get apart because of outer reasons and one side tends to ignore the other, then it might get a little confusing and the aspect does not result very well..
