astrology does not affect you, the planets are just signs of destiny

many people are under the impression that the positioning of the planets affect them and what they do and who they are... no its the other way around. looking into the heavens are symbols of yourself, you are what is symbolized in astrology, and looking at these signs in the heavens are for insight of yourself. you are what is being told through the planet positioning. planets dont affect you, you affect them. and then this leads to another point. your destiny and Gods will. many people think they 'control' their destiny, but in fact, everything you do is going along with destiny, therefore you are really not in control even though you think you are. Everything that happens and ever will happen is Gods will and destiny and everything you people do is part of it.no matter what

i meant to replace every 'you' in this with 'we' oh well

If you don't use your free will to control your life or destiniy, then the planets will make it for you.

If the planets don't affect us then there wouldn't be any point in studying astrology, If you put in the effort to learn how to read progressions and transits your veiw on this will surely change. From your posts I'm thinking that you have been listening to one of the many negative influence in your self, we get to choose which influence we want to utilise, choose wisely because your future peace of mind is the result of your actions! This is a freewill zone, it has to be because it's a place of creativity, if there were no free will then we wouldn't be able to create anything new!

Every will is an extension of the One Will. What you see when you look at the planets is the mechanical arrangement of the material expression of the One Will. The ability to choose, however, is greater than the influence of any planet or all of them. In this way we are co-creators. The ability to decide is the most powerful thing that humans possess. We write our own destinies that are carried forth by the One Will. All the Universe will be your helpmate if you accept it.
