2 Dangerous Transits Today-help?

Hi,

I'm a bit worried. Today I have the Sun transiting conjunct my natal Pluto in Scorpio 3rd house AND Mars transiting conjunct my natal Saturn at 1 degree Sagittarius in the 4th house. These conjunctions are within tight orbs.

I have always heard negative and even dangerous predictions with these transits. How can I protect myself today? Please advise!!

I'm sure you'll be fine.

Sun transits just last the day. Perhaps you'll have a little power struggle with someone.

Mars conjunct Saturn. Again Mars is moving pretty fast at the moment and this will only last a day or two. You might find yourself being aggressive towards or having a confrontation with someone in authority.

So ... to protect yourself ... just take a little more care (Mars may get you acting impulsively) and if there's an argument waiting to erupt, find strategies that will mitigate it. Look to be a little more diplomatic, or see the other person's view. Ultimately try not to react immediately. If necessary walk away, saying you'd like some time to think things over and then come back to talk in a few days when these transits have passed. Good luck!

Ok, thank you. I started to get worried yesterday when I read this horoscppe on astro.com for the sun pluto transit:

Avoid contact with criminals and do not go into areas where you are likely to encounter street crime. Under this influence it is just possible that you might have an unfortunate encounter.
And I've read that mars/saturn can indicate a danger surrounding sharp objects and bleeding. I live in Chicago, and it is Halloween- just don't want to bump into a psychopath...maybe I will carry mace tonight or something not sharp and not got anywhere by myself.

I'm not sure why they even publish that stuff. Remember, this is your Pluto, your Saturn. Unless you have sociopathic tendencies you have nothing to worry about.

The Sun will shine a light on your Pluto energies and give you the opportunity to be cognitively aware of your mysterious Pluto power (or Plutonian obsessions, it's your Pluto, you tell me). You will find yourself responding to events around you with intensity. Since the only transits to the Sun today are conjunct Venus R and sextile Pluto and the Moon's Node, it should be a very benign aspect.

T Mars and Saturn conjunct very positively. Mars can energize your ambitions, kick-start things that have been progressing too cautiously, and add some form of external action or initiative to what you're trying to accomplish. If you're the authoritarian type, Mars can bring resistance to your "rulership". The physical dangers from this conjunction come from uncontrolled Martian energy. Today's Mars is very weakly aspected, separating from a trine to Uranus and 6 degrees separated from the square to Neptune/Chiron (the last day of that aspect). Mars' condition suggests a new cycle of restructuring for you.

Both of these transits can have a Karmic effect. If your Karma is good, you'll love them. If it is not, you can use this energy to create some new Karma.

You can also use this day to free yourself from "doom and gloom" predictions. Sun/Pluto and Mars/Saturn are starting new cycles in your life. Take some time to write down what's occurring and what your thoughts are about each of these conjunctions. Record 3 days for the Sun (one before and one after) and 6 days for Mars. This will give you a foundation for interpreting future aspects between these planets as the Sun and Mars cycle through the signs.

One theme I can suggest for your Sun Pluto transit is the fear that gripped you over these transits. A simple interpretation for a 3rd house Pluto is that it is developing social, or collective consciousness from information it gathers from your personal environment. The ninth house; publications, collective knowledge and beliefs, opposes this purpose and must be balanced. With Pluto, the process is elimination and regeneration. You want to develop a habit of using discretion and trusting your own experience and ideas. Of course, with Pluto, you have to be willing to dig deep and let go.
