Are psychic/ESP abilities linked to IQ?

I remember having read something in an alternative article on the net that people that are typically psychic or with strong ESP abilities should have IQs above 120-125 or something like that.

I wonder if this is true or not? Any comments?

I dont really believe 100% in the standard IQ test though, because they only measure certain things. Ive noticed that many people with high IQ dont have much social intelligence or they are extremely special in other ways. Maybe Uranus involved? Which again creates special people... But it would be interesting to hear more about this

So are psychic abilities linked to some kind of spiritual development of the "soul"? Could this be seen in some form of IQ/EQ (emotional intelligence)?

This is a interesting theory but i think we all are intutive in some way or another it depends on if we decide to listen to the voice inside us or the feeling we get
I do believe that people that have a very strong placements in there chart are extremely psychic though

There are indicators to show intuition, and some people have very strong aspects for this. Psychic? Not so sure...

Try to interview some Mensa members to see if they are psychic

Sorry, I wrote that wrong. If I knew Mensa members, I would ask, but I don't.
I am not a pro, but I know how to research online to find what I do want.

I've read that Neptune and Uranus can be linked to intuition, so you might want to Google on that to fully understand what aspects and placements tap into intuition.

I am sure finding their Natal chart wouldn't be too hard.

After looking at a few, you could see if the charts of say, 3 -5 members have any major placements/aspects.

My studies (and other activities) in the esoteric field since the 1960's, make me give a definitely not answer to the original question: I have found no correlation between "IQ" and psychic/paranormal abilities, nor have I read about any researches pointing to such a correlation.

no such thing as IQ or EQ, imo...but I suppose one would have to have sufficient language ability to describe information gathered through ESP or intuition?
