Solar return relocation mistake unsure

Hi there,

I need guidance on the birth location for my solar return

Do I use my natal birth location (california) or replace that birth location with the place where I live in Hawaii as the right location for an accurate chart.

Or fly to Hilo for the day of my solar return, keeping the natal birth location the same. For a possible better year.
I really do not know please help

Solar Returns are always done for the place of permanent residence, and if you're over 30 years, they should be precessed.

If you're traveling on business, in connection with the military, on holiday or you're a student at university, you use your permanent place of residence, which is your birth location or the location you permanently moved to.

Traveling to another place for your "Solar Return" is nonsense. I was in Monaco to watch the Gran Prix for my birthday and that chart should show marriage but it doesn't, however the Solar Return for my birth place does. I was in Vicenza, Italy on another birthday and that Solar Return fails also as do all the rest (I traveled a lot).

I can interpret Solar Returns but I don't use them, because they're a lot of work for nothing. Basically a Solar Return is nothing more than a glorified transit chart, and the time spent would be better looking at progressions and transits over that year (and you don't even need to construct charts for that -- you can just run your fingers through an ephemeris).

For predictive use, I use them with Death Charts, but for nothing else. The only way to get any predictive value out of them is to progress the Solar Return House Cusps which is very tedious and time-consuming since you have to do it all by hand, or you have to use a semi-Solar Return, and for timing you have to construct precessed Lunar Return Charts (and those you use the exact location where ever you are or wherever you intend to be as close as possible).

Primary Directions and Profections are also much better for predictive work, and they do take a long time to set up, but you only have to do it once and then you just need to look at transits every once in a while.
