I have been looking through Various Celebrities Charts to find if I can see their Careers indicated in the Birth chart. I thought I would choose three people with very different Careers. I chose Tony Blair a Politician, Tiger Woods sportsman/Golf and Celine Dion Singer.

When I first looked at his birth chart his 6th and 12th houses are massive. Not sure what this means, it has two signs in each. I hadn't seen a chart like Blair's before. If anyone has any ideas on this please let me know.

First Blairs chart has 5 planets in the 12th house. Lots of energy for universal visions, service to humanity. The Sun in Taurus deals with money and finance. The Sun squares Pluto in Leo/5th house so a powerful persona. The Midheavan is in Capricorn which represents his government work.

The Moon is in Aquarius/10th He needs to create social change within his Career. Virgo on cusp of 6th brings in his analyzing and need to discriminate in his work. Tony has Neptune Conjunct Saturn in the 6th house Libra, There is a need for for unity co-operation and balance through daily work environment and this merges with his need for order and form at work.

Mercury in Aries gives him the capacity to speak independently to the Universal whole (Mercury in 12th) this also links to back to his Career.

Blair has Angular planets of Mars and Jupiter by his Asc/12th house making him a big leader to the Universal whole.

Tiger Woods

Tiger woods Chart was a little tricky at first because his Sun is in Capricorn which can be related to business, the Sun is ruling over the 5th Sporting/hobbies. Tiger's M.C is Gemini so I am thinking a job involving communication/intellectual thought. Mars is near the 10th which this planet can represent sports then I thought well yes an intellectual sport which Golf is. Other sports probably require different talents. Mercury ruler of Gemini is in the 5th house of sports/hobbies.

The 6th cusp Aquarius involving innovative work, original mental capabilities. The 2nd cusp Libra co-operates with others, Uranus in 2nd Unique earning capacity. Saturn in Leo can indicate sports as well.

Celine Dion

Sun Aries needs to be recognized in her Career because Sun is near 10th. She has great perseverance and stamina. Mars in 10th and Conjunct Moon in Taurus needs to be resourceful and has lots of drive and energy in Pursuing an Artistic type of Career/Taurus.

6th cusp Capricorn adds to her perseverance, 2nd cusp Leo earns money through creative pursuits/performer/singer. Mercury Conjunct Venus in Pisces communicates through singing sentimental songs. The Conjunction is focused in the 9th house of travel/foreign places, bringing her singing to a worldwide audience. Mercury/Venus trine Neptune in the 5th house of Music entertainment.

The only difficulty I find in looking for careers is for example Celine's chart and Tiger woods because an emphasis would come back to leo/5th house. The difference being Celine's chart focused on Taurus/Venus this would link her to a more artistic Career. Tiger's focused on the intellectul type hobby and Mercury in 5th is opposing Saturn in 11th. Which would bring in a perseverance of the mind in his Golf which you would need. The Saturn is focused in group organizations while Celine's is more independent with her Arien energy. Also which I forgot to add is Tiger's Sagittarius Moon which can be athletic again opposes his M.C bringing this element into his work.

This is a wonderful idea for a thread! Perhaps can we expand this by creating several categories of careers we wish to study (politician, athlete, singer, etc.) and list the names of famous individuals (Tony Blair, Tiger Woods, Celine Dion, etc.) who are involved in these careers?

Very nice work! Something also to consider: when we decide to do one career we automatically decide not to do another one. It is entirely possible that people who become known for doing ONE thing COULD have been good at doing something else for their career. For instance, for Tiger Woods with Gemini (thinking, also sales) modifying Mars (being, also action) conjunct (energy is combined with) Midheaven (outer world), he could have become active in selling things in the outer world...as he seems to now be doing!

For Tony Blair, sometimes it helps to follow Cancer/Moon/4th house emphasis in chart, since all these have to do with "the people". With Moon conjunct North node (future goals) focused in the 10th house (duty, also career), a career in politics makes sense for Tony.

I should have focused more on the Moon in the 10th and conjunct North Node with Tony's chart. The Moon bringing in the work involving us the public "the people".

With Celine Dion she has been interested in photography, since she had her baby and has a compiled a whole collection of artistic photographs of babies. Possibly her Taurus Moon in the 10th, and her Mercury conjunct Venus trine Neptune/photography/film/music in the 5th does show how Celine is very artistic in different fields.

There was also a footballer I can't remember his name, he is not massively famous but when he injured himself, he changed from a sporting career to Career in sales. Just shows how the potential in our charts can manifest in different ways.

On Tony Blair's massive 6th and 12th house I have just read that the size of a house can be a significator of Karma. The book doesn't really go into details on how this works so I am completely guessing it must mean meeting his Karma through work (6th) with the Universal whole (12th).
