Who are the true revolutionaries??

First a foreword, I understand that this is not a forum for political views or discussion, what I have to write here is merely my own observations, Its not my intention to step on any toes! Anyhow, without further ado...

Is it possible that perhaps in the latest saturn-uranus opposition people had mistakenly assigned the political left to uranus and the political right to saturn? I know that sounds counter-intuitive, with regards to the symbolic meaning of the two planets but I think i may be on to something here. If I understand correctly the 2008-2010 opposition was the first one since the 60s. (Every 45 years as I understand it.) Now in the 60s the interesting thing was that we had the same opposition but the planets were in the opposite signs. As I see it now, the revolutionaries of yesteryear (the 60s) have become the authoritarians of today. (heavy handed, social engineering prone government. big brother?) Astrologically, this makes sense to me being that in the 60s cycle uranus (and pluto!) were in virgo, and here just recently we had saturn in virgo. Thus, completing the cycle. Likewise, the authoritarians of the past are now the revolutionaries of the present. I.E. Tea party type movements against taxes and increasing government. (saturn in pisces now uranus in pisces opposing saturn.)

On an additional note, I do find it interesting that transiting pluto is trining the original 60's uranian, pluto conjunction by sign. I suppose that symbolically represents the ultimate manifestation of the original virgo/pluto conjunction. (civil rights, amongst other heady 60s issues) Basically the transition from lowly worker/little man/minority (virgo) to running the government itself (capricorn.) Additionally the fact that pluto in capricorn is trining virgo and sextiling pisces (60's saturn sign) tells me that the government at the moment is more strongly behind the issues represented now by saturn in virgo (as of this writing libra lol) and less towards uranus in pisces issues. (again, aries as of now)

What does everybody think about it?

Yes, it has merit.

There were a total of 5 Saturn/Uranus oppositions, and all took place in the US 3/9 Axis.

It's important to understand that all 5 oppositions occurred as the result of Mutual Application. Aspects that occur by Mutual Application are forceful and often result in unusual consequences, sometimes violent.

The first occurred in April 1965 when Uranus was Retrograde. Also it is important to note that Mars was conjunct Uranus at that time.

The second took place in August when Saturn went Retrograde

The third and fourth oppositions happened in February and November of 1966 with the same pattern of Retrogradation.

The last opposition occurred in January 1967 with Uranus Retrograde.

Let's compare with the current series. We have the exact same pattern of Retrogradation.

The first opposition occurs Virgo/Pisces on the 3/9 Axis on November 4 2008 (Election Day -- perfected in the 8:00 AM Hour).

The second and third also on the 3/9 Axis.

However, the fourth opposition took place on the 4/10 Axis in April [26] 2010 and is less than 1° from the Cusp of the MC/IC.

The fifth opposition happend on July 26, still on the 4/10 Axis but in the Signs of Aries/Libra.

Important too is that Mars will conjunct Saturn opposition Uranus, and that after Mars separates and after the Saturn/Uranus opposition separates, Jupiter will conjunct Uranus.

Whatever is happening now will not be the same as what happened in the 1960s, because of the changes in House and Sign, in Mars is conjunct Saturn, not Uranus.

Re: Who are the true revolutionaries??

Thats a very astute observation, I didn't consider the different house placements with regards to the us natal chart. As for the imminent mars conjunction with saturn, im extremely curious to see if that triggers off something big.

These oppositions, like the Great Conjunctions (Mars/Jupiter, Mars/Saturn, Mars/Uranus, Jupiter/Saturn and Saturn/Uranus) will manifest themselves differently in each country, depending on Sign and House placement.

These oppositions on the 6/12 Axis often cause realignment of institutions, maybe unionization or labor disputes and problems.

On the 4/10 Axis, often political change.

On 1/7 Axis, problems or changes in Foreign Relations, sometimes you see countries "fall from grace" or lose their standing in the World.

On the 2/8 Axis, obvious problems with banking, finance, foreign investors, foreign corporations, international corporations and so on.
