My progressed Jupiter is retrograde for nearly 20 more years?

Despite being intelligent and talented enough (sorry, I know how that sounds!) to probably do whatever I wanted. have always felt a bit 'up against it' despite not having tangible problems to cause me real setbacks. I have noticed that my progressed Jupiter has been retrograde for a long time and was wondering if that is hindering me and if there's any way out?

It is trined by progressed Mercury in the first - have always been a good communicator - but a terrible listener so I am told. Also it is trined by Uranus and Fortune in the 8th/9th - I can't fathom how this will help me other than I have a desparate need to travel and still haven't got it together to do this - is travel the answer? Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Uh, wut?

You do realize that Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, right?

You do also realize that Jupiter in the last degrees of Cancer is on Neptune's block, and Neptune is in the 11th House ruled by Jupiter, right?

Right, so Jupiter is not the problem.

Also, your aspect orbs are outrageous. Bonatti would slap you, but I'm not Bonatti.

An Arabic Part in trine? Al Biruni would be rolling in his grave. You don't want that on your conscious, do you? Conjunctions only.

Gosh, with Venus in the 12th ruling the 9th House and Moon square Jupiter, I just can't imagine why.

A Solar Return Chart can help you with travel plans. Look for your Natal 9th House Cusp to come the Solar Return Ascendant, or the Ruler of your Natal 9th to be your Solar Return 1st or 9th Houses. There are other indicators, but those are the primary. Solar Return Sun in the Natal or Solar Return 9th House also good indicator.

Your progressed Venus is in early Aquarius, which means it just perfected an opposition to nJupiter. You have nMoon square nJupiter which will also give you that urge to wander, not because nMoon squares nJupiter, but because nMoon in the 4th House (your home) is square nJupiter in the 7th (and Jupiter is also the natural ruler of the 9th House).

As far as getting it together, at a glance, you just might be able to do that as pVenus makes conjunctions to nMercury, nMars and nSun.

Jupiter is co-ruler of your 2nd House, and now that you know that Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and sipping tea around 4:00 pm or so with Neptune, that would be a good time to explore travel possibilities.

Re: My progressed Jupiter is retrograde for nearly 20 more years?

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

http://www.skyviewzone.com/birthinfoforms2/housesexplained.htm

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

Now in Equal house Scorpio/pluto rules 11th house and 10th, Neptune would be 12th Saturn would be 9th and your stellium in Aquarius would be 2nd and Moon in 4th. So basically all your planets move except venus

As Bob said, the orbs you are using are far far to wide to count.

Actually Bob, His Jupiter is 2' Leo NOT cancer
Jupiter is involved in a T Square and what typically happens is that by a transit, solar arc, or progressions comes along and temporarily creates a Grand Square full of tensions and problems. Jupiter opp mars = confidence in taking action and expansion. Square to taurus fixed moon, both fixed therefore don't like change and can be stubborn.....can go 'over the top' emotionally on occasions. So in all not a really bad T Square...

"Jupiter in Leo individuals attract the most good fortune when they express magnanimity, are generous with others, inspire confidence in those around them, conduct themselves with dignity and sincerity, and avoid the pitfall of excessive egotism. Prosperous areas are creative ones, entertainment, children, and recreation."

All I see this doing is making you a little less sociable and not have that much need to be centre of attention basically

I feel the square aspect will cause 'enough' impetus to get you moving/shifting really --
