Jupiter and Neptune, expanding the inner horizons
Hello everyone,
I have been wanting to start this thread for some time, as in my natal chart the square between Neptune and Jupiter has occupied a lot of my thoughts. I have Neptune in Sagittarius in my eleventh house, square Jupiter in Pisces, the second.
I would like to further explore the relationship between Neptune and Jupiter, as I have always felt it to be a bit confusing, at times not being able to tell one from the other!
In my case I will definitely say that my expansion, or way of expanding in life is more of an 'inward' journey than outer travel, involving the arts, and other esoteric interests.
I'd like to ask, do any of you have Jupiter and Neptune aspects? How do you think this works in your being and life? Please consider other aspects and which houses Jupiter and Neptune rule in your chart. I'm happy to give and take ideas with you as it will help me understand the relationship between these two planets more authentically. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Re: Jupiter and Neptune, expaning the inner horizons
I don't have this aspect. They do quite like each other and tend to expand (jupiter) into spiritual, esoteric things and also 'spend a lot' without too much thought of how to pay the credit card bill.
I think you would get far more responses if you posted your natal, along with progressions and transits. Most of us here are visual people and need to see charts.

Thank you for replying astrologer50. I do feel that there is an affinity between these two planets or principles in me. Also I just noticed how complicated my original post was if people could not see my chart. Because I don't want to post my chart at this stage, I have edited my original question and will see how it goes from there. I like how you said, 'they do quite like each other'. It's something I've always felt, despite them having a square aspect in my chart.

I have a bi quintile I don't know if that would count as an aspect to you

I have recently looked into quintiles and bi-quintiles, and there is an excellent thread in this forum somewhere about them. I have a biquintile between Saturn and Neptune, and I can definitely say that it works in my life. It suggests some kind of creative rapport between the way you expand in life and your imagination/spirituality.
For me the biquintile is a more subtle aspect, like it always works in my subconscious and being aware of this would definitely help create something from their relationship in your chart. You can test this by looking at what sign and house Jupiter and Neptune are in. Do these parts of your life have a creative relationship? Then you can even go further and see which houses Jupiter and Neptune rule. Then ask yourself again, are you somehow, on some level, always trying to get these areas of your life working together. Just to give my own example. Saturn is in my sixth and Neptune in my eleventh. Yes, for sure, and no doubt, I'm always blending my work with my humanistic dreams. Friends also are always often involved with the work I do. Day to day life (Saturn in sixth) must have some kind of spiritual tribute to it, so if I miss one day without meditating or going inward on some level (Neptune), the day seems empty to me.
