My Friend's Chart
Hey, my friend would like to find out what type of career he could do in his life, he is currently undergoing enormous pressure in his studies at university, can you describe his nature in his chart? He split up with his girlfriend almost two months ago and it made him very depressed, but he's getting miles better now! Can you just describe anything that you see about him in his chart in general and what things can be affecting him in his transits?
Also he is quite skeptical on Astrology so this could also help convince him.
Cheers
Brad!

Re: My Friend's Chart
Brad, I'll take a look for you, but it may take a day or so.I do notice though. straight up that he has sun cj north node-that can be very helpful/
Pluto in h1 too-so we're dealing with a strong temperament
.......and that stellium....
I'll look into it.

Right now transiting (transformation) is going across his stellium (collection of energy) in his thinking house. This indicates a DEEP transformation in his thinking: the death of old ideas and the birth of new ideas. Maybe now he will even "open up" to astrology!
Transformationally,
Tim

Re: My Friend's Chart
Hi Bradderz,
Sorry I took so long!
Wow. When I look at this guys chart I'm a bit stunned by the stellium in his third house-ruled by capricorn, opposite to the moon and chiron in his ninth. And his ninth ruled by the moon. I'm not surprised to hear that he's feeling ambivalent about University.
With the sun ruling his MC though and located in his fourth, I can see a conflict for him between succeeding out there in the world, and hiding away in his home also ruled by Saturn.
Also in his natal, jupiter is retrograde, but exalted in cancer, moving away from the ninth house of unis and higher learning into the house of other people's resources.
In his chart his second house is ruled by Jupiter-income. Jupiter trines his mars ruled ascendant and we see mars also exalted in capricorn in h3 but conjunct Uranus-a planet known for its* lateral thinking.*.
Mars usually tells us what we like to do in life. This guy likes to do practical unusual things with his mind.He would find it very hard to focus for long periods, probably preferring outdoor pursuits.
The placement of the sun with the north node, in aquarius points towards occupations related to science or aviation or humanitarian endeavours but a great deal of freedom is going to be needed by this person.
Occupations to do with homes, maybe designing them, is also a possibility.
With the sun square to Pluto, an ability to compromise is sorely needed. The guy could be a powerful force for change however.
With the moon in the ninth, this person may hold deep religious or spiritual views with a danger of becoming very bigoted due to the stellium. Its something to watch out for.
The position of the moon here also suggests a likelihood of travel and journeys that develop the person at a spiritual level.
With the moon opposite both venus and Mars theres not much chance of this guy happily taking orders from men or women! He'll need to learn to control what he says and his high temper.
With Mercury in Cap and Jupiter in h8 I am inclined to feel that buying and selling real estate could be a good path, allowing freedom and individuality.
Teaching is another possibility but with the tendency to worry and be perfectionistic, teaching might be a stressful choice, unless it involved teaching Religion or a practical subject.
However, after looking at these factors, I'd say real estate or architecture could be very viable for this guy.
Cheers
Lilly
