gender?
so what exactly does it mean when we say gender? what does it mean for a sign to be masculine or feminine? what are the qualities of masculinity and femininity? how does one incorporate gender into chart delineation? how important a thing is it to consider?

yin and yang, to milkyway
milkyway,
Instead of "gender" or "male" and "female" I like to think of it as yin and yang type energies. I have heard it is possible to find out a person's gender from the chart, but I am more interested in seeing the chart as an unfolding potential.
Getting deep,
Tim

Re: gender?
How on earth could you 'tell' real life gender from a natal chart? I have all but two planets in 'masculine' signs (and so does my twin brother!!)

Re: gender?
can you elaborat on yin and yang energies? yin is the dark yang is the light right? is it like imploding versus exploding?

yin and yang, to milkyway
milkyway,
Ripped from the web:
Quote:
In traditional Chinese thought, these are the two elements that form the universe, and are present in every living thing, ideally existing in harmony...
...The two fundamental forces, Yin represents the...passive force...Yang represents the...active force.

Quoting,
