Did this vacation ruin my career??? (WELCOME ME BACK!!) :)

Hi everyone,

haven't been on AW in a while and am super excited.

I went back down south to visit my parents and friends for my birthday (missed them sooo much) Was supose to leave on a Tuesday to start work on Wednesday. I did not buy my plane ticket yet and went to purchase it before leaving and realized the plane ticket prices went up by $200+.

Of course I opted to fly up the next day and plan on calling in sick tomorrow morning. I plan to now come to work on Thursday.

There have been whispers on my job about considering me for a new position opening up on my job.

I want to know, if me coming to work a day later will affect my chances and effect they way I 'm viewed at work. Thus causing my fall from grace.

I know this is dramatic, but I'm such a worrier.

If there is anything else career, living, or otherwise related to my question please let me know...I'm am internally panicking.

Just to start things off....

I have all cardinal angles..which probably leads to change in the current situation. Meaning that the change is self created. Libra is the ascendant so I am Venus.

Venus is in the 7th house of others conjunct mercury. This means that someone younger or male is attached to the question in mind.

Venus does not have any attachment to Moon...which could mean that there would not be any affects to my career.

Moon is at opposition to my MC. meaning probably a temporary fall from grace.

Venus squares Mars in 10th. Internal strife. Problems on the job are created from this.

All in all looks like there would be issues but not sure if it will lead to me losing my job or not being considered for the new position any longer.

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME GUIDANCE!

Wow that is quite an increase. I did that once on holiday with a b/f, I phoned in saying we had a delay by a few days!

I re-drew the chart in Regiomontanus as that is the usualy house system used in horary. Can you confirm the time of the chart please for me?

Looking at the chart you posted:

Your job is Moon in Capricorn
You are Venus in Taurus

Venus, you, are very strong in this chart

Moon is deposited by Saturn, which is deposited by Venus. Saturn is about to change back into Virgo where it looses some of its strength, so that could show an imminent change in your job. Could it something behing the scenes, as Saturn is in the 12th house, kind of hidden?

Moon is void, which could mean that nothing comes of this, nothing changes, therefore in relation to your question, no the vacation did not ruin your career.

Only thing that bothers me is the south node right at the MC.

But all in all I think your job is safe.

Missed you in the chatroom the other day!

I was surprised at how dramatically it increased as well...If I knew better I would have definitely bought my tickets ahead of time

You mention the South Node...how would that affect the MC?

I know South Node represents the past...could you be referring to my thoughts of going back home to stay with my parents (these are currently just thoughts since there are NO jobs where they live)

Also, Saturn in 12th? what could that represent.

I am currently about to go through a background check with the FBI (way better job). Could this be it...my boss doesnt know about it, as far as they are concerned..I want to stay at this (mortgage) company for the rest of my life!

Saturn in 12th?? Could that be seen as a positve?

The Moon is this chart is Void-of-course showing nothing happening. Now that could mean two things:

Firstly, do you know for definite that you were in-line for this job or was it just a feeling or rumour? If you have definitely been told that you're getting it, then your past actions won't affect that. If it was just a rumour or a feeling, then the not changing is your current status meaning that you won't get the new job but keep your old one.

I must say too, that the job doesn't look too great; it is in it's detriment and the South Node is almost conjunct the MC, I'd be wary of it if I was you.

As Konrad observes, South Node at the MC makes me a bit wary of somthing in your current job. Its considered malific in nature in horary charts. But as Moon has just conjuncted the North Node which is a positive influence, I wouldnt be too worried.

Thats interesting about your background check with the FBI, Saturn in the 12th may be that, its hidden from view, very apt.

Moon void, no more aspects to make in Capricorn, but if I go the modern route, just experimenting here - Moon sextiles Uranus in the 6th, perhaps some sudden oppertunity coming up to do with the work you are currently doing. Moon the void so nothing more happens, until a change, some improvement in status. Saturn is teetering at 0 degrees Libra so Moon is within orb of trine to that. I am wondering what that is... either way I would imagine it happens fairly quickly as everything - Moon/angles are angular and cardinal. If the FBI checks will take a while, this aspect may not relate to that as this is more immediate, it may relate to this other job within your current company.

Hey guys

Thanks for all the knowledge!

I got an email today
The background check may begin in 2-3 weeks. I'm so excited and wasn't expecting the email.

Also about the job. A coworker overheard my name as being the one to take on this new position. Funny thing is, I never interviewed-but thought I was going to in the near future. This guy I detest on my job was announced today as getting the job. I like and get along with most people but this one had a horrible personality. He constantly would make racist comments to several members on staff. Making people feel uncomfortable. He is also very pig-headed and has made demands towards several managers on staff. I feel as if he shouldn't have gotten it.

Saturn trining moon could possibly mean a job opportunity that uplifts me and grants me a better income possibly?

S node on MC. Would his position cause harm to me? He dislikes me greatly and has tried to cause problems with me on the job.

Also, most planets are in the second quadrant. Could it be an internal growth period? Mars in 10th? Aggression on job?? A job change?

I'm so upset he got this job

and feel that it might effect me

Ooo congratulations! That other outside job sounds like its progressing!

For your current place of work, would you then work with this guy if you got this job with the place your currently in? Maybe that is the south node influence. I wouldn't say the position would cause you harm, it just may not be your ultimate path. You don't have to let him effect you.

Intresting note about the 2nd quadrant, I've never used that type of technique in horary, each to their own, perhaps it will be a time of internal development, this guy may even help in his challenging ways.

I don't think we can answer all those questions with this chart though, as the chart was mainly about if your vacation would ruin your career, that was the question that was going through your mind at that moment in time.

The only thing I would say is that we look at the north node conjunct the IC rather. I am not expert in horary but feel that we must look rather at the north node as it is our present life path.

North node conjunct IC could mean that it was meant for me to be home at that time. Just a thought
