Regarding Son's Marriage

Hello,

I am a new user here.

I am a 55 year old lady who is highly worried about my son's reluctance to marriage. He is 31, who says that he Hates marriage and he wants to be a single without having the burden of family, wife, children, their education headaches and so on.

Though I am not forcing him to get married, I would LIKE for him to get married and settle down. I sincerely request anyone of you to understand the plight of a mother here and check on his details given below and tell me why is he having so much liberated views on Marriage i.e is it due to any planetary positions and also I would like to know whether or not he will get married? Is Marriage on the cards for him? Why is he so hatredness towards marriage? Whew..Too may questions...Obviously...I am a worried mother..

Also can anyone tell me about any changes in his life in the near future. Coz he went thru a bad phase in business in July.

Of course, I wont mind any bitter truth....Its just that I want to know about his Marriage..being a concerned mother..worried as well.

Like your sun I have Venus aspecting Uranus (in this instance trine) and My MC loosely conjunct my NN. I have opted to marry and rear a family putting much effort and service toward that including forgoing a career that was fairly high profile. Honestly I find marriage lonely and monotous. Like you I have a son whom I would hope might marry some day and have children. But I would opt against encouraging it if he did not appear to truly have those desires. Marriage and children are lovely but stressful and require a great deal of commitment not to mention resources and some level of maturity and sacrifice. I council most people who ask me and who are either sitting on the fence or not big in to marriage to forgo the entire package deal. It's very hard for me to understand these kind of astrological questions.
It's about a 31 year old man, that means he's an adult, that means he's old enough to think and decide for himself.
Marriage is still a choice, it's not a must.
I even think that it's better to stay single and to know why,
than to get married because you're already in your thirties and other people expect you to settle down.

I'm also not married (I could blame it on Saturn but I won't )
and that's a choice, because I love my freedom and need a lot of space for myself.
Of course there are people who have a problem with that, but it's still my life.

I think we should live and let live and respect each other's choices.
Even if we don't agree at times.

BUT still can anyone do a progression and tell me whether at all it is possible atleast in the next 2-3 years or so....

Ya, Flyway, agreed to your points..Its his life, his happiness...agreed...BUT i dont know where you stay...We stay in India..Its totally different here..The moment a Girl crosses 21, a Boy crosses 26....Parents will be asked that question - 'WHEN is His/her marriage'...whereever they go...and WORSE...the moment a girl crosses 26, a boy crosses 30...if still single...parents get to listen to all sorts of questions...which irritates and frustrates.....

Even my son has given some good points which when I sit and think - I am amazed as to how this generation see LIFE. But as a mother I really would love to see him married at this point and settle down.

Strange though...in fact the main reason for my worry, surprise was - About 10 years ago a Priest who had looked at his horoscope had predicted that his marriage would take place during 2003 to 2005 i.e when the Jupiter period starts...When this thing didnt happen I got a bit worried and curious. The strange thing is the other things which the Priest had predicted has come true EXCEPT for this marriage thing....As per your above statement he wont marry till 2018 Boy...Looks like he's gonna stay single right thru...

Ya, He had a bad time in business during June-Jul but again back on track from this month..I think right now he's going thru Jupiter - Saturn transit.
From Dec 06, looks like its Jupiter-mercury transit....Also I think he will undergo the 7 and half Saturn from Jul 2007..dont know how much malefic this will be coz frankly speaking I dont know much about the effects of all the above said transits.
