Designer/Artist launching portfolio site

Hello all!
I am so grateful to find this website!

I am a designer, who plans on launching a portfolio site consisting of graphic design, illustrations, print work (magazine layouts, posters, CMYK), photography, and drawing, intended for scholarships, grants, residencies, and jobs (freelance and others).

A bit about me/the work: I'm not that traditional (Aquarius moon, Aries/1st house stellium, 3rd house Gemini mars, Uranus-conjunct-MC /sextile moon), but I do use traditional medium (painting, drawing) to inform my design work. My work deals a lot with PRINT, meaning papers, printers, posters, packaging, communication. I fully support the Transitionist movement, which are artists who are also designers, whose non-commercial works influences their commercial works and vice versa. My keywords here are digital-to-print, and versatility.

Knowing this, I can only not hope for talent and an electional chart that is compatible with my work, but also FAME! I have 2 questions:

1. I plan on purchasing another domain name (already have a web space). Would the electional chart be considered casted at when I click "checkout" or when I actually "launch" the site to the public?

2. I have until Valentine's Day. Leo ascendant, good? Though before the sun would be in Aquarius (fall). I have an idea of having the moon in either social Fire or Air Signs (though not really Libra since my natal south node is there). What would be your recommendation for Ascendant and moon signs?

I have 2 dates in mind: 29 Jan, 3 Feb, and 13 Feb 2010.

Here some points..
Moon in Cancer trining or sextiling MH from 7th house is good .. and it is after A new Moon.
Since this is Mercury related business check to see and make sure that Mercury is not combusted or trapped with a square to Saturn.
Spica at 24 libra on MH should be good

A. Sun/Venus are separating and combusted venus with being void? NO GOOD!
B. the chart with Sun/venus in 6th house.. WHY? if you want fame .. smack it in 10th hosue
C. moon 19 libra is via combusta.. not good with clients cause moon does rule peopel who could be your clients
and Mars retro peregrine? NO WAY
can you pick another date?

Tikana, thank you SO much! Good to hear about your business with Taurus theme. I wasn't aware that Combustion also applies to electional... I thought it was only Horary, so I read it as Sun-Venus conjunction as opposed to Venus being combusted.

Okay, so, you're right about 10th house fame. DUH! I thought that the 7th house deals with "the other" - meaning the customers. And 8th house there... other people's money... Mars is retrograde and won't be out of the shadow until May 2010... that's a long time to wait. So I really can't work around that..

So I am going with Feb 13th 9:50 am. Ascendant Taurus, venus conjuncts Neptune and Jupiter. Moon in Aqua conjunct (or combust?) by the sun. There's a bunch of yods. What do you think?

Just saw your post and thought I'd see how your launch has gone. I was thinking of putting up a website this month too, but Mars (my 2nd house ruler) is retrograde.

Yeah, I am actually waiting til Mars goes direct. Hey hey. Also, a lot of scholarships I'm writing are due at the end of March, so I need a good date to submit them.. haha.

Will keep posted.

Mars turn direct after March 10th. Might have to wait a little because it might be in the station period.
