Countries and personal birthcharts

Didn't know where to put this question.

But I was thinking does a population develop a certain set of characteristics astrologically by being born in one country? For example, Australia has a lot of Sag and Cap in it. Does that mean that Australia the continent will influence people's births to make them compatible with it?

Each country has its own birthchart, although the exact time of the "birth" of the country is frequently disputed by astrologers. Since people are living in the country, they ARE affected by the energy of the country. This will shape and guide the expression of how they use the energies in their birth chart.

I do not think I am exactly answering your question. But from a karmic standpoint, a soul chooses to be born in a certain geographical area because the energy vibrations of that area are consistent with the goals of that soul's evolution. I would assume that it is a bi directional relationship however. The soul impacts the environment, and the environment impacts the soul.

And we also know that each sign has an affinity for certain geographical locations due to similar energy patterns.

Hi Wilsontc, could you tell me please how could i make the chart of my country? Mexico, the independence day was declarated on 9/15/1810 on Hidalgo, but I'm still searching for the right hour, it was at night.

As mentioned, finding the right TIME is the most challenging part of finding the birth chart of a country. Take a look for any significant documents or "swearings in" which occurred on that that place and date. Even if you don't get a time, you can still use the aspects the planets make to each other (except the Moon, which requires a time) to find out something about the nature of the country's energy.
