Pluto Square Venus Relationships

Greetings all, i hope it is ok to post in this board as a non-astrologer but i feel events seem to be pushing me more and more to understanding this amazing subject in more depth.

The pluto square venus transit seems to last over 2 years so i am a little concerned that all this intensity of emotion is going to be with me for so long. When does it peak!?

astro.com has fee six month transit forecast plus when you get into Extended chart selection, look at the three tabs after calculating a chart under ‘method’ default is circular wheels (on left), middle is special charts and in their you get graphic ephemeris 1yr (or 5years) with natal = transits for 1yr and lots more. BUT you first must learn or memorise the 'glyphs' ie: shorthand for recognising what these maps/graphics mean.

For example when you post or reply to a chart the 'smilies' to the right and just under them [more] if you click on there it will bring up a whole loads of 'glyphs' Mercury Uranus conjunction (+or - 8') trine aspect 120' Libra

Now it's more important to focus on transits from Jupiter to Pluto and these planets when aspecting something in your natal chart 'set off' the difficult or nice 'aspects - potential - problems' that your chart expresses. By that I mean if a benefic planet like Jupiter hits/touches/transits your venus, mars or uranus these could be experienced very pleasantly. BUT if your natal venus is afflicted, or badly aspected say conj saturn then jupiter will not has such a good effect. It all depends on how the natal planet is 'aspected'

The khaldea website is an online ephemeris which plots where the planets are going to be or have been for hundreds of years. Now my 'astrolcalc' astrology program uses 'exact date transits' but the way to look at these is 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing influence. For timings, espec the outer planets, I would look for the retrograde hit (backwards hit) and then look for something like transiting mars, which I call the 'ignition key' to set off something major.... Now obviously the exact date for transit will be the strongest influences

So around 26th Jan 2010 T Pluto will be conj your venus 4'11" The retrograde hit will be 21st June 2010, direct hit 30th Nov 2010. Last influence when retrograde 2011 Sept will go back down to 4'53"minutes..

As you have a number of Yods with Saturn being Apex and also apex of T Square is worth researching these.

So anything between 4' -12' Cardinal/Capricorn will form a termporary Grand square

This may cause lots of internal frustrations and changes with relationships. That Saturn squ venus alone suggests feelings of being unloved from childhood and a cautious and reserved affectional nature, then your moon trapped in 12th suggests it may well be hard for you to express yourself emotionally

Transiting saturn is presently going over your Asc and will opp your natal venus on 22nd December which may well severly test the validity of this relationship and could even break it.

Saturn is the Lord of Karma and master teacher, but really he's trying to teach us about ourselves. It wants us to be responsible, hard working, dutiful and learn our Lessons properly, so they won't have to keep being repeated. Therefore, is usually suggests things slowing down, delays, limitations and restrictions so we can learn these Lessons.

What Saturn does is 'test' what is of value to you and what is working in your life. It wants structure and hard work. If something isn't working--- it may well end--- so something better can be put in it's place.

5th Feb is the retrograde hit the one to really watch out for and on this date T mars will be opposing your natal sun making your more assertive, dogmatic and wilful perhaps....

Thanks so much for these insights - i'm very grateful as it's a quite strange but powerful relationship for both of us but we are finding constant communication about feelings as they arise is the only way to deal with them.

It seems we are both learning alot about ourselves but in an extremely challenging but fruitful way. It feels almost unavoidable as a relationship as the attraction became so strong and while he have some intense highs together, we also seem to push each buttons on a regular basis! I feel as though i am in a heightened state of sensitivity where my whole world is being turned upside down. I am noticing more and more about how suspicious i am getting about motives etc.

All in all - seems like a very challenging transit but ultimately rewarding i'm sure. I really hope we can make it work but it does seem like it will take some effort.
