Disastrous wedding date??

My fiance and I want to set our wedding date for August 27, 2011. (The day after the mercury retrograde ends) However, venus lands in Virgo on that day. Am I asking for problems or will this be ok?

The only other unfavorable aspect is that the moon is waning. Moon's in leo, venus is not retrograde, etc.

Can anyone help me? We have to decide on date soon!!

Somehow I think you know the answer before anyone has said anything. Sort of like when people call Dr. Laura Slessinger... ha!

Venus is not only in it's fall... but it is combust. Too close to the Sun. True that none of the angles on your selected day have Venus as a ruler... but Venus is love and marriage. Not a good day. My advice... please pick another. V/r LionKing

I've been pouring over websites and books nonstop and I think I've found a great day- September 24, 2011. Venus is in Libra, and everything else looks harmonious too.

I'd say that you did choose well. It is a Saturday. The only thing would be the time of the wedding. I hope you have worked that one out as well. The only thing... and remember... The Sun is in it's fall in Libra. So carefully choose the best time.

Alright, while we're at it, I'm going to throw one more at you guys.

Within the last 3 weeks I've had 2 people approach me randomly (one a friend, one a complete stranger) and tell me they just had a FEELING that I will be pregnant within the next year/year and a half.

According to my palmistry, I will have 4 children; according to my wrist (using a pendulum) I will have 4 children. I have already had a miscarriage, about 3 years ago. Obviously that leaves 3 children left to have, and my fiance's palm says he will have a total of 3 children.

I used the guide you sent me, Astrologer50 (thank you again!!!!

) to determine that on our wedding date the fifth house of children will be in on the cusp of taurus (about half in aries, half in taurus). 7th house is in gemini and 9th house is on the cusp of virgo (half in virgo, half in leo), representing our last two children.

Taking this info into consideration.... when will I be getting pregnant I wonder?

The charts you attached are not visible, maybe you are doing something wrong. on astro.com Extended chart selection go down left side to 'image size' reduce to smallest 63% get chart, right mouse click on chart and save picture as 'target picture' or something like that to hard drive, then upload.

The event chart for marriage days can be complex and obviously where the sun is placed is important. If you place the sun in 5th it's not just kids, its romance, creativity, artistry, self employment

Olivia...nothing wrong with you planning the wedding and looking for a correct day and time... This is called "Electional Astrology". I believe there is a thread here for it.
There are good books about it also. I have Electional Astrology by Joann Hampar. To which I refer to every now and then.

I know there'll always be something that can be improved.... but I'm just hoping for a day that's as harmonious and full of love as possible. I almost set my wedding date mid mercury retrograde.... geesh, lol. You guys saved me! :P

Oh, and here's my chart with the 4580. I still am a bit confused on how to read it. I'll post it in the horary section too.
