Re: Keeping my son back for another year at primary school?
Should questions are not good ones to ask in horary. The question needs to be thought through and asked in a yes or no format....and from the heart.
Now I must admit I ask should I questions all the time but just when I am thinking about something for myself. Traditionally however it is yes or no format.

PS your sons house will be the fifth and you would want to look at the 9th from the fifth for his education I think. Someone might correct me on that one. It might be 3rd but I think all education is the 9th.

Edited to add: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the degree of the ascendant indicates it is too late to ask this question, which could perhaps indicate that I should leave things the way they are and not change future plans.

I think you can only ask horary questions once every three months? I wonder if this still applies if the quesiton was invalid. I'll wait for an experienced member to reply on this, but I was wondering this too!

Re: Keeping my son back for another year at primary school?
There is a Moon trine Saturn aspect in this chart. Therefore, I think you and your son should sit down and make a list of the positives and negatives of each decision. Breaking away from peers should only be done if necessary....unless he is not close friends with those in his own grade. They will be gone from his life....for all intents and purposes.
If he already has friends in the grade under him, then it's different. But unless his grades are poor and he has issues with his peers, I think you and he need to really sit down and study the pros and cons, so that he really understands the choice he is making. And I think the best thing you can do is help him make that choice in a practical way.

Re: Keeping my son back for another year at primary school?
Saturn is the older person, moon is the younger. The trine means they can work together. Simple as that. (It can get more complicated but it's not vital to this question.)
If there is a good synastry between your heavy planets and his personal ones, he sees you as a friend and that would be good.
If the moon in his natal chart is not hampered by heavy planets, he will be able to contact his own feelings in the matter.
You just need to guide him.

Re: Keeping my son back for another year at primary school?
I would think that since you are essentially using the boy's name, just not telling us, (referring to him as G) so I would think that you should use the 7th to represent him, and then the 9th from that house for his education?
he is the moon at 2 degrees Aqu, and his education is shown by Jupiter, at 17 Aqu. the conjunction is way wide, so I'd take this as a no answer, and let him attend the normal classes.
I am just learning myself tho, so....
