I am also a complete newbie to astrology. The only thing I managed so far was to put my natal chart together But I do not know how to use Horary astrology, hence here I am.
I have the following question:
- Will I relocate in the next 1-5 months? My husband and I are both sitting unemployed and pretty much the only opportunity is to go abroad. Is there anything in my chart showing it?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Olga

Reason: Forgot to attach my natal chart, don't now maybe iti s necessary
Olga, after you have posted a Horary chart then look for the ruler of the 1st house and the 9th house and see if they make an ingoing good aspect, sextile or preferably trine. That would mean a yes to your answer.

Re: What program do you recommend for compiling a horary chart?
OLga, you can draw a horary chart with any programm. There are special programms for horary astrology also showing the Mutual Receptions and other details, but it is not necessary. I think the Solar Fire programm is one of the best known one and I also heard about Janus. I am thinking of getting that. Till now I just do a normal chart in Astrodienst.

Olga, you dont need your birthchart for horary. You must make a chart just for the time you ask the question, the place you were at that time and the date. That is all. The second link in my first post tells you what is required. A horary chart of course looks like a natal chart. It is just a "natal chart" for that question.

Olga, You must make a chart just for the time you ask the question, the place you were at that time and the date.
For the past 11 years I have been living in a place different form my place of birth. Therefore when posting a horary question I build a chart of the moment for the place where I LIVE NOW, because this is where things are happening in my life and this is where I have questions...
I am attaching the horary chart for the "Will I relocate in the next three months" question and the data table.
PLEASE CHECK my interpretation since I do not qualify even for a biginning astrologer, but I have a lot of desire and tenacity to learn!
I was told that in order to get an answer to my question I need to check the ruler of the 1st and 9th houses and see whether they make a good aspect. Please check me: the 1st house is in Taurus - therefore the ruler will be Venus. The 9th house is in Capricorn, the ruler will be Saturn.
Looking at the data table we see that Venus and Saturn have a conjunction. There is no sextile, no trine - sorry; but isn't conjunction also a good aspect?
So would the answer to my question be a "yes" or a "no"? If "no", then why, because there is a good aspect.
Hello Olga, sorry for answering a bit late, but I was the whole morning for medical check-up and feeling not good, so now it goes a bit better.
You are right, you are Venus, but you are also the Moon (always, as co-significator, unless Cancer rules the house of the quisited!).
9th house is indeed Saturn.
But, Venus and Saturn do not make a conjunction. Venus has left the conjunction to Saturn, so that conjunction is not valid anymore. In horary, there are never aspects like in natal astrology, always ingoing (still has to happen) or outgoing (lies in the past) aspects. An ingoing conjunction if of course a very good thing.
So Venus does not apply to SAturn, so we now look at the Moon as your co-significator and then we see that yes, Moon still will make a sextile to SAturn, so that shows a possibility (not a certainty!). Both are in very late degrees as is the Ascendant (within the last 3° of the sign, one of the things to look at before starting to interprete a chart. A late degree shows that you might already know the answer to your question subconsciously, or that one cannot change things. A too early degree, the first 3° of a sign in the Asc. shows that it still is too early to answer a question because there could still be some changes or developments which could change the outcome of the question.).
So it looks like a YES. Moon is also conjunct the 7th house cusp. The 7th house is the 4th of the 4th, showing your second home.
The end of the matter house, your 4th, shows Mars in there who is the ruler of your new home. This could show that the new home will be there in the end. (litterally translated).
SAturn is in a very late degree, about to change signs and becoming exalted in Libra so the next place will probably be much better than where you are now.

Starlink, I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well... I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and wishing you to get better!
In the meantime I wanted to tell you THANK YOU, you are incredible and there is definitely A LOT for me to learn and read about.
Can I ask another question?
Can I use ONE horary chart to get answers to A FEW questions about another person? Since all questions are about the same person I thought I could use one chart. Actually this would be my husband. This is how I was planning to do it:
I get a horary chart and then go to the 7th house (responcible for partners, including marriage partners). Then I TURN the chart so that the 7th house becomes house #1 and from there I start counting those houses that I am interested in (4th - health, 9 - travel and 10th - carees). CORRECT??? If yes, then this is what I will be doing tonight.
Hi Olga, yes, feeling much better today, slept for ages.
Glad I have it all behind me.
Now about your question. I the question is: how does my husbands life looks like right now? then indeed, you can do exactly what you said. Take the 7th and turn the chart, making the 7th house 1. Then you can look at his finances, his home situation, his kids, his health, his worries or joint resources etc. etc.
It is a good way to learn as you know the circumstances more or less I suppose. you can see if the planets reflect those circumstances.
Cheers, Starlink
