Help Appreciated with Natal Chart Interpretation. :)
Hi, I've been interested in astrology for quite a while now, but I haven't had the chance to actually scrutinize it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can help me interpret my natal chart for me? I see alot of earth signs in my planet (capricorn mostly)... what does that mean? And also I'm a gemini sun, but how come I feel more like a cancer/aquarius? What are my most prominent characteristics and what type of person am I? I'm doing this for self-evaluation and I believe astrology is a helpful tool to find "myself.' Thanks.

Oh, and another thing. People will help you more easily if you post your natal chart instead of posting all the aspects. We like to look at something could you upload your chart please? In the extended selection of astro-dienst you can make an anonimised chart, better for privacy reasons.
Sticky: Attaching Chart as a Thumbnail!

Re: Help Appreciated with Natal Chart Interpretation. :)
...you should be a natural at achieving mastery over any form of meditation with that Saturn/Neptune conj combined with a Saturn/Pluto sextile that gives one a controll over the power of the will and the Neptune/Pluto sextile that gives contributing interest and attunement...I know of this, I've the same Saturn /Neptune conj aspect within 0* 24' in Libra...and the Pluto aspects too [which in my case is wrapped up in a 'Harmonic/Mystic rectangle' that involes the I.C/M.C. axis and thus became the guiding pursuit of my life].
Is meditation, or a form of yoga, one of your endeavors? If so, do you have any experiences you wish to share?

Hi there fellow Gemini. I also have a Virgo Ascendant so I may be able to help you in that area of your chart.
If you haven't done it already, posting your chart will help greatly in the discussion.

Re: Help Appreciated with Natal Chart Interpretation. :)
Just for those who are not familiar with a Mystic Rectangle (as it is a configuration which you dont see very often), here is a definition:
MYSTIC RECTANGLE:
This consists of four planets connected in a rect angle of two squares and two trines, together with two oppositions connecting the opposite planets. Despite the name there is nothing mystical about this pattern.
This is what I would like to highlight, because the name is confusing and many beginners might think it is all about being a mystic person

Starlink, I know you meant to write 'Four planets arranged into two oppositions connected by trines and sextiles'...it's actually part of a "Grand Sextile" or 'Magen David' [Star of David] with two opposite points incomplete.
...offhand, I only recall Paul Foster Case being mentioned by Dane Rudhyar as an example of this configuration...and Cases' matrix is rather a 'weak' one.
My life has been ripe with 'mystical' experiences. Of course you kind of have to take my word for it...but my friends and family will vouch for me.
I have seen and experienced the Angelic and have witnessed and battled the Demonic. [As Hoyt Axton wrote and sang, "The Devil is a joker and He don't want you alive."]
It's more commonly refered to as a "Harmonic Rectangle"...and it can confer a 'harmonizing' with ones' 'mystical' nature...I guess it depends on the indidvidual.
...I may start a thread on this and see who else has experiences to share.

The Huber School of Astrology call it a "Rightousness Rectangle"......suggesting that those who have it want to spread harmony; may possess a mystical disposition and sometimes experience a rare transformation from Saul to Paul...... abandoning everything that was important before, to be spiritually reborn and able to pass on to others what they have learned through their Rectangle......[Although these transformations are rare, I guess that's why the configuration is often misleadingly called a Mystic Rectangle]
The School consider the North Node as a valid point in configurations, and thus use the chart of French artist Georges Braque to illustrate the Rectangle (02.30 am 9th May 1882 Argenteuil/Paris/France)......He and Picasso were the co-creators of Cubism.
Informing without commenting.

Re: Help Appreciated with Natal Chart Interpretation. :)
Hi Pierce, I think your mystic nature must indeed come from other aspects and planet positions in your chart and the mystic rectangle might help you in expressing your nature, this mystic quality you have, in a practical way (apparently the Mystic Rectangle works in a very practical way I read). My daughter has it also in her chart.
She is not at all mystical, but she is highly intuitive, many planets in 11th, Uranus trining them and Pluto opposed to Mercury from 3 to 9th house) and she believes in the mystical world, yes, so maybe she will be able to be able to pass on to others what she has learned through her Rectangle... later on in life?...[I know too little about this configuration so maybe a new thread about it would be an idea!].

My daughter is certainly not one of those LOL! But she cannot stand it when others argue in an aggressive way with one another. Reminds her of her ever arguing dad I suppose....

Starlink is correct -- we are all visual people here and need to see charts not data.
The questions usually answered first in the Greenhorn Lounge are those where a member makes an attempt to answer their own question astrologically ( but this is not mandatory). This shows a willingness to learn and at what level of knowledge you have yourself. With this in mind most of the members here are always willing to help others understand.
This forum (in my opinion) is more of a discussion and learning site, and the main objective is to encourage, interact and explain astrologically why something is happening in your life, rather than just ‘drop the answer in your lap’ and not necessarily to provide professional readings and forecast future events.
It be most helpful to ‘post’ your chart (rather than data), for others to comment on as we are all visual. For help on how to do this, go here. There is an option in Extended chart selection to ‘anonymised drawing (without name)’ box http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12126
Amongst other things, astrology is a wonderful tool for understanding yourself and others better.....enabling us to make better choices in life as we become aware of how our behaviour influences what happens to us through the law of cause and effect. Astrology does not reliably predict the future.......But it can provide an excellent insight into the psychological make-up of people, enabling us to accurately predict their behaviour and it's resultant effects
If you intend to learn about astrology, you will need to begin with a natal chart, it need not necessarily be your own, but many choose to begin this way, in an effort to better understand their own life journey, and purpose. Astrological natal charts are as individual as a persons ‘fingerprints’ depending on where (latitude & longitude) and time of birth. It is important to get your *time of your birth* as this is the most important information.
Here are my personal recommend beginners links to focus upon Natal charts:-
I hope that you come here and want to learn about astrology and join in with exchanges. There ever expanding Education forum here and lots more to explore. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12556 http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm
