Re: moon in the 1st house with taurus asc and scorpio ruler of 7th..what doe sthis me
Rimsy, welcome to our Forum. If you find a moment, please introduce yourself in our "Introduce yourself" board and tell us a bit about your astrological experience and yourself if you like.
In this chart you are Mercury retrograde (because Gemini rules the Ascendant) and the "soulmate" is ruled by the 7th house, Sagittarius, so he is Jupiter retrograde.
For the time being Mercury and Jupiter are not aspecting one another. They are in signs which trine each other though, but both are moving backwards, not forwards, so Mercury will not make the perfection with Jupiter. Possible answer: No, you will not meet your soulmate next year.
But Moon, co-rules you and Moon WILL trine Jupiter and Jupiter himself will trine the Ascendant. So from looking at the Moon, it would seem a Yes, you will meet him.
Jupiter is in your 9th house, so it could be someone who lives abroad or is a foreigner. Ruler of Jupiter is Saturn, in your end of the matter house 4, but under the sunbeams, so he is still hidden, you cannot see him yet.
Moons last two aspects before leaving her sign is a trine to Jupiter and then a square to the Sun. By then Moon and Sun will be both Angular so that square could also mean a contact. Any Sun-Moon aspect is fortunate except the conjunction in horary, so I hope this is a good sign.
It is always difficult to talk about a "soulmate", because we can have several soulmates in this life, not just one. When you believe in reincarnation which I am sure you do, then you could actually meet more than one soul from a former life in this life.
Anyways, let us know if you do meet him next year.
