Will he meet me this week?

my ex is on again with telling me he ll see me soon.
he said he ll have transportation this week so my Q was will we meet this week.

i see our signif and moon are not aspecting , but ruler of my 3rd applies to his signif venus and ruler of his 3rd applies to my signif mars.

also this weeks eclipse will be conjuncting his natal DSC/ASC axis with orb of 1 degree and my natal ASC/DSC axis as well but w orb of 6 degrees.

so what do you think of this chart? do u see a possibility for encounter?

No, I don't think you'll meet this week. Like you said, Mars and Venus aren't in aspect, and the Moon isn't in aspect with Venus either. Venus is in Cancer, so I do think he really wants to see you, I just don't think he'll be able to for whatever reason.

Because Venus is in the domicile of the Moon, and generally shows a "want" or desire to be with or a part of whatever the Moon represents, which is you in this horary chart.

And the Moon is VOC as well. However, if the question would have been: will I have a date (just generally speaking) then I could say "yes" because Sun will sextile Mars. But this is not what you asked for. Maybe a date with someone else?

hi guys

starlink i didnt wanna ask about a general date cos he s the one who s in my heart in a long time...there is no someone else...so i was specifically askin if he d met me this week.
well he didnt!!!
although on thursday we spoke for over 3 hours. maybe thats the 3rd houses significances in the chart?
he said he couldnt get his battery yet but he does wants to see me soon.
i told him is not gonna happen for a while (is waning moon) so this time i ll be delaying things

There is considerable disagreement among horary astrologers about when the Moon is VOC. I fall in the camp that believes it isn't VOC if there are still aspects it will perfect before it leaves its sign. It still has to complete the sextile with Uranus (although I know some horary astrologers disregard the outer planets completely).

Also, when the significators do not make any applying aspect the rules say you can turn to cosignificators, and in this case the Sun is applying a sextile to her significator. Isn't that relevant? It happens in three-somethings, so maybe 3 weeks?

Turning to co-significators to look for applying aspects sounds like grasping at straws.

What is the point of co-significators at all then? If the Sun represents men in their prime, then this 'man' is in the querent's 5th house and applying a sextile to her significator. Is this another man in the querent's life, or the quisited's co-significator? I am still trying to learn...

In his book "Horary Astrology Plain and Simple" by Anthony Louis, he says that if neither the rulers or the co-rulers make any aspects then nothing will take place (p. 80), but that is not the case here. The co-ruler and ruler are aspecting one another.

This is just my personal opinion but I don't see the point in using "co-significators". I think you can get a clear answer from using the main significators. For instance in this case Celeste's question was will he meet me this week? Their significators were not in aspect. The moon did nothing to help either. They did not meet.
From what I understand the Sun is used for a man when determining attraction between the people involved in which case the woman's significator is Venus. (I personally don't subscribe to that theory either.)

Well, I certainly can't argue because I am a new student and I don't have enough experience. And also because you are right, the querent did not get the outcome in real life.

However, I am curious as to what the co-sig means and how it will manifest in 'real life.' I hope Celeste keeps us updated!

hi everyone and thanks for yr replies.

i am very much inclined to think that in 2 weeks i will see him.
so that would make 3 weeks from the posting of that chart.
in any case i will post the outcome around new moon this month.
also in two weeks Tmars will conjunct Tvenus so there s another point.

is interesting how this significators- co significators thing can be looked at from different perspectives..
thats why i wanted to post another chart,,: on the day we were supposed to meet, i emailed him and since he s very random in communicating w me i had no idea whether he d reply or not.
now , i sent him the email and then went to swim and while i was in the pool i asked the question, will he reply to my email

so here is the chart and as u can see no significators apply nor moon aspects anything - unless that quincunx w mercury counts?? but i dont think it would..though u are the experts!
well the answer/outcome was yes.
as soon as i came back from the pool i had his email in my inbox.
how come since this chart doesnt seem to say so?
maybe is not radical?

I would venture to say the chart isn't radical. You will rarely get a good answer when you ask a question on a whim. Traditional astrologers felt it should be a question that the querent has been agonizing over for days or at least a while. As one article I have posted elsewhere on this board says, the question has to be significant enough to warrant attention from the stars, and not a question that is based on mere impatience on the part of the querent.

But please keep us updated on the visit! It would be very interesting if he did come to see you in 2 weeks.
