is he ok with my news?

I'm pregnant and told my boss about 2 weeks ago. I only told him because I really haven't been feeling well and I asked him if it was ok if I worked at home when I'm sick. I was pleasantly surprised that he seemed happy for me and said it was fine. But now he seems to be avoiding me and I'm not sure if it's because he's busy or if we're going into a weird area again. We've had communication issues off and on since I've worked there. Maybe he's just nervous about something, not sure.
I asked if he was ok with my news but getting conflicting info from this chart.
I'm the Moon in Taurus and he's Mercury in Cancer.
My significator is in exaltation and in the 8th house. He's in my term and face. His significator doesn't seem to be in good shape. He's only got accidental dignity being in an angular house. He's under the rulership and face of the Moon which I assume means he does value me as an employee. But he is also combust the Sun and conjunct the south node. I am not sure how to interpret that in this context.
There's no aspect between us which to me means the bottom line is no, he's really not ok with my news.

I'll take a look. I see you are Mercury and he is Jupiter (7th house) though I don't know whether I should take him to be Mercury (10th house)

But in your analysis you said "I'm the Moon in Taurus and he's Mercury in Cancer" ... I wonder whether the chart I cast for you is correct !

I took the 10th house for career/boss. Since Mercury rules both the Ascendant and 10th I took the Moon for myself

Well, he is in your rulership and your friendly 11th house so I imagine he likes you as an employee, but feels powerless about "losing" you to health related issues right now. I think that is what his significator being combust means, a sense of powerlessness at this time. I don't think he likes the news, but knows that it is necessary for your health. The last aspect the Moon makes is to sextile Mercury, so that is good right?

misskitty I think you are right.....just found out today that my co-worker was kind of teasing him a bit, saying that I probably won't come back from maternity leave and he looked disturbed/nervous. She told him that she was just kidding but my boss tends to get nervous easily ....
I haven't seen him in 3 weeks. Not that anyone's anxious to see their boss

but I just think it's strange so I started to get concerned. The last time I saw him was when I had to drop off papers in his office and he wouldn't even look at me lol. By the way he's acting you'd think I said I had a contagious disease instead of telling him I was pregnant

Congratulations on your pregnancy by the way! In my 'analysis mode' I forgot to say that. Darn my Aquarius Moon sometimes.

Horary aside, is it possible to set up some kind of weekly meeting with your boss to recap what you've accomplished that week? It might make him, and you, feel better!

I think your boss cant look at you properly because he thinks your going to leave. I had the same thing hapen to me too. confusing because we had a good working relationship and appreciated each others qualities. when i started doing work for someone else he wouldnt look at me and avoided me also.
