Cancer Sun, Virgo Asc, and Sag Moon, interesting...

As a Virgo ascendant my desire to improve myself to almost unattainable goals runs very strong. I've used software to compute my chart, with these results. I feel that this chart is a great representation as to who I am, and most intriguing, is the Moon in Sagittarius. In a sense, it gives me additional mental gifts, which is of course favored.

I was wondering if anything, such as the aspects, or any other additional interpretations could be recommended for me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, btw, I came back from reading a book called "Introduction to Esoteric Astrology." It had quite a bit of bad things to say about Virgo Ascendant... calling it far too anxious and ambitious, with drive to attain material gain. Also, spirituality is only seeked to improve the self and current value. Basically, it painted Virgo ascendant as very dangerous... someone who is too skilled but constantly unhappy because of his unattainable perfection. But it's all almost a contradiction to my compassionate Cancer Sun. I was wondering what your interpretations of this are? Do you think Virgo ascendants should be painted as an "unhappy, evil force" to be reckoned with?

As suspected, my energies have always felt very well-directed and on-course. My observed practicality is consistent and emotional outbursts are quenched and do not deter me from my goals.

I took notice of the Harsh aspects in relation to Mars and Venus. Now, I assume that those have to do with relationships... and this has been a very difficult process for me, as I have both lack of experience with relationships, or I've learned some valuable lessons from crushed relationships. It seems as if my Leo in both Mars and Venus is a complete contradiction of what a more conservative Cancer/Virgo would go for. I seem to have trouble, in that I am attracted to the "wrong" type of women, but I have trouble not being attractive to the wrong type of women.

Planets that are in the 12th denote things that we 'own' , but we try to distance ourselves from at times. Your mars/venus in Leo describes a powerful physical energy force which is sexy and demonstrative. And like you described, wholly different from your Virgo/cancer outward appearance
and nature.
So these 'wrong' types of women are actually attracted into your life to remind you of the need for you to acknowledge this part of your persona. It does not always have to be such a crushing or disruptive experience. If you can learn to integrate that mars/Venus square to Pluto energy more fully into your life, then you can have ideal, yet exciting relationships that are still in harmony with your other goals and plans. In other words, "loosen up'

Yes, indeed! "Loosen up" is something that I regularly hear from others, lol.

There is one major problem I have however, and it's more of an internal issue. While emotional issues do not hinder me from my goals, I have a problem of almost never being happy with current circumstances, and the amount of drive I have is absolutely immense. Finding happiness is difficult, and people say that I'm a workaholic and that I need to "relax," go out and socialize a little. But when I do so, I end up feeling very disappointing that no work or improvement was accomplished. It's a no-win situation, the idea of having a "vacation" doesn't exist, because I'm in harmony with productivity, and any distraction from it makes me irritable.

Stargazer, you have a dignified Pluto in own sign sextile a dignified Saturn in own sign. This is where that fanatic working drive comes from as Saturn, traditionally rules your 6th of work and Pluto the 3rd of the mind. At the same time both planets aspect your Ascendant positively. To top it all off, Saturn rules your 5th house of pleasure and being in Capricorn, there is only duty, duty and duty in instead of pleasure and fun. It comes natural to you to love working. I think you just cant help it and I should not be all too concerned with that.
