Re: Is this a T-Square?
Yes AquaScorpio, this is a T-square. The focal planet is Mars but Sun does have influence as well because it conjuncts Mars and is allowed larger orbs with the other planets. You are right, it is a difficult aspect but also gives much drive and energy when used positively. It is even more complicated because the opposing planets are all intercepted in their sign. Should however her birthtime be a bit different, then the housecusps could be different as well and then maybe they are not intercepted.
Usually it is the focal planet which has the opportunity to solve the opposition between the other two (in this case 3) planets. Doing that askes indeed some strength and perseverance and because it usually shows as a charactertrait, it also needs introspection of course, understanding why those planets oppose one another.
Mars/Sun both fall in Libra and in her 2nd house. This is the house of selfworth and mondanely, one's own resources. I am more focussed on psychological astrology, so I will look at it from that point of view.
Mars/Sun conjunction is usually a strong combi, but here in Libra both planets are weak and she could therefore be very frustrated within herself, and angry and having difficulty to express this anger out of fear to disrupt harmony with others. Nevertheless, this can often happen when she is emotionally upset about something, especially with friends. She could also tend to give too much to others (square to Jupiter, square to Neptune) in order to be loved and by doing that totally puts herself "away" as it were, doing more for others than for herself. Saturn (ruler 6) conjunct Neptune (ruler 7) shows that element of self-sacrifice when doing things for others.
Libra is the relationship sign and being in a relationship and all the ups and downs that accompany (any) relationship, will strongly affect her self confidence and selfworth.
Most planets below the horizon shows a more introverted, person.
You can also see this by looking at the ruler of her 2nd house, Mercury, also placed in that 2nd house and inconjunct (150°) Moon conjunct the 7th house cusp.
An inconjunct is a tension bringing aspect and often related to illness as well.
6th house ruler Uranus squares tightly her 2nd house ruler Mercury, so it is very possible that when a relationship goes wrong, she becomes ill. This is caused through mental stress, psychosomatic because Mercury is also the natural ruler of the 3rd house of the lower mind.
Moon and Mercury are both on the same degree, very exact and Mercury is on a critical degree (0°Libra). Moon in 7 shows her (emotional) need for a relationship.
Venus, who rules all three, Mercury, Mars and Sun, is squaring the Moon.
So we can safely say that the main problem in her life could be her relationships and what influence they have (probably undermining) on her selfconfidence and consequently, her health.
Neptune, ruler of her 7th (modernly speaking, traditionally it is Jupiter), and who also rules her feelings and emotions (Moon) is conjunct Saturn. A very strong Saturn in own sign. Saturn limits and delays and falling in her 5th house of romance and opposing Jupiter, it also shows the possibility of many (Jupiter opposition) short (Saturn) romantic (5th house) relationships which more often than not could end in desillusion (Neptune). She wants however always something lasting (Saturn).
Mars rules her 4th house of early upbringing and this Mars plays a key role in that T-square. She must have experienced some very confusing, contradictory and difficult to understand situations in her childhood, related to her parents. Did she maybe have a stepmother? That Venus square her Moon makes me think of this. Either that or there was a very tense relationship between her and her father or mother. (traditionally it would be the mother), but because Mars is involved in that Tsquare, I suspect the father also played an important role in this whole situation.
Her selfimage (Sun in 2) is strongly connected with that Mars and Mars in the house of Venus (2nd = Taurus, ruled by Venus) and in the sign of Venus (Libra) as well, is asking for trouble because Mars in in detriment there and Sun in Fall.
It will need a lot of re-assuring to make her feel more confident in relationships, so you can help her by asking her what is bothering her most and try to be as open as possible, showing that you care for her. You could explain her chart to her if she is also interested in astrology. She is probably stuck in childhood memories where things often were confusing, friends maybe not allowed to come to her house so interaction with others could have been difficult. Chiron in her 11th house of friends shows that this is a very sore point in her psyche. Chiron is also intercepted (stuck)there and she could have difficulty in releasing this pain. I think she yearns to have friends as Moon rules the intercepted 11th house. House 7 and 11 are very strongly connected here.
