so confused

i'm 25 years old and have recently returned to college. I have changed my major from astronomy, anthropology, business and finally to cinema, i have flirted with numerous other options along the way. my direction is fleeting and am now thinking what am i realistically going to do with this major??

when i took a break from school i thought it would provide some direction or a clearer perception but all it did was make me realize that things don't just fall into place. i waited tables, office jobs, odd end temp jobs..i had six jobs alone last year and moved four times! what is wrong with me?

i want to head in the right direction with determination and get somewhere with my career. any insights on what career path i should be taking?

If you do not already know with real clarity exactly what you will do with a FILM major, then it may not be the best choice. Film majors have to be very focussed upon their end result as it is a very competitive, high energy, passionate field where very few succeed. Not to be a downer, I just have my worries because it was 6th in your line of successive majors, so it probably is not the ultimate, singular passion in your life. And to make it as a film maker it pretty much has to be. [ can you tell I have 2 college age kids. ]

Okay. The good news is that your Mars/Venus conjunction can give you the power and energy necessary to make ANY of your chosen majors or jobs work out. But you may have to FORCE yourself to stick to one long enough to do so. I think you may be bouncing around because you are hoping the subject itself, or the job itself, will create a source of motivation for you from within. Sadly, it don't work that way. You have to find that impetus from within, regardless. Sure, finding your passion makes it much easier.
But true motivation comes from inside oneself, wanting to succeed and to conquer and to shine. With the Moon in Pisces in the 6th it is kind of confusing because lots and lots of things seem fascinating and alluring. How to decide...

Maybe just promise yourself that your choice does NOT have to be the final choice. Understand that over your lifetime you can explore freely many things. But first you need to conquer one successfully by sticking to it long enough to master it somewhat.

The sun in the 12th house demands a lot of altruism from people. You may find that your life works best if you construe it as a form of service to people who are less fortunate than yourself in some way.

exactly my sentiments, which is why i keep questioning how my "plan" will pan out with this fleeting ambition.
at times i'm absolutely certain i can succeed and then i forget that feeling altogether as fear of rejection and doubt takes a hold of me.

however, i do find comfort in your advise to stick it through. i should stick with something to see what will come of it. thank you.

no interest in children, but nursing is one of those ideas i flirted with, i think i would enjoy nursing but something about that field didn't sit right with me, just didn't feel satisfying enough. (although, i am not always the best judge of what i need)
but you're right, i absolutely don't have a clear sense of self, deteriorates the will and the drive i know i have. it's frustrating.

You have (change) focused in the 6th house (daily work), so you either change your jobs often or you change how you feel about your jobs. The is also associated with healing and is in which is associated with hospitals. And you have a Talent Triangle pointed at (transformation, also healing), so maybe you might be interested in doing something in the medical world?

Not sure I agree with lots of changes of jobs, but I would suggest that if you are emotinally upset you prob wouldn't be able to function 100% or do the type of work you do if there is too much discord within the work environment. I have cancer ruling my 6th house and placed in 3rd and am rather sensitive to atmospheres in the work environment.... maybe you are too??
