Identity Crisis--Can I get some help?

I'm new to these forums but I've been studying Astrology for a long time. Lately though, I've been having this identity crisis that I can't shake and I keep looking at my chart to find an answer, but maybe there's something I'm overlooking. I hope I can get some feedback. Thanks for your time.

Uranus

Illusion,

Currently you have transiting (planets in the sky) Uranus (friends, also rebellion, restructuring, astrology) conjuncting (energy is combined with) your Ascendant (self). This indicates that right now you may be rebelling against everything you are. Instead, use this time to REstructure yourself to become more the person you have always wanted to be. Now is also a good time to discover and explore astrology for personal benefit.

You also have transiting Pluto (transformation, also power) conjuncting your stellium (collection of energy) focused in the 10th house (duty, also structure). Pluto empowers by stripping out all the old habits we no longer need. With Pluto transiting the 10th house, it might be stripping out your old, outworn structures...no matter how much you want to hang onto them. Instead of resisting this process, accept that the old must die to give way to the new. The end result will be transformation of who you are and, in time, empowerment.

Both these transits are LONG transits, so it is best to go along with the process and accept the need to restructure and transform.

Suggesting,

Tim

Thanks for your insight, I really appreciate it. I don't really know how to go about "going with it" but I guess I'll figure it out. Thanks again!

Hi Rebekka,
If you have been studying astrology long enough, you may be aware of the effect that secondary progressions and solar arc directions can have.

The first is like a major transit but instead of looking at the planets as they are NOW in the sky, simply said you look at the planets' positions so many days after your birth, according to your age, and see if the new positions effect anything in your chart. You have just turned 18. You will see that your 12th house Aquarian Sun has conjoined your Ascendant.
This could indicate that the girl that willingly evaporated into the background as 'one for all, all for one', and/or into her own private world before, is now becoming aware of herself as an individual and has noticed that others are (not) noticing her or are (not) aware of, or (not) considering, what she wants. It can make life very confusing especially if, as Tim pointed out, transiting Uranus is also effecting prog. Sun and bringing out irrevocable changes in your personality as well as in your appearance.

Solar Arc directions are 'hypothetical' movements of the planets. They are moved at the same rate of your day-for-a-year Sun, which gives them totally different positions than those 18 days after your birth. Yet they are surprisingly accurate. If you move all your planets about 18 degrees further, you will see that a number of them have made VERY interesting contacts with a natal planet. Do you recognise any significance?

The solar arc directions appear to represent people and events that effect your life (e.g. a boyfriend), whereas the secondary progressed positions are major periods that have an effect upon the rest of your life (e.g. leaving home for college.) Therefore, how you deal with their themes is of utmost importance to you. The effect of transits lies somewhere imbetween

Astro. com. can give you a combined chart with transits, secondary progr. and solar arc in it.

Hope this may be of some help to you.

F.
