Could anyone possibly give me any insight on this relationship? We've been on and off for almost 4 yrs. now.

(Also, I don't know much about astrology yet, but it seems to have a lot of squares, which I read was a bad thing.)

As you may know, the composite chart is the chart of the relationship itself and so can't be "adjusted" by people in the relationship. This chart would only apply when you are actually in the relationship together. To see what is causing challenges in "relating" to each other, it would be better to look at a synastry (individual comparison of each other's energy interactions).

Suggesting using synastry instead,

Thanks for posting the relationship synastry. It looks like you two may both have an unaspected (strong energy) Venus (relationships). Since neither of you "connects in" to the others Venus energy, you don't completely "relate" to each other. There are other attractions between you, which keep you together for awhile, but the basic feeling of being in a relationship is not strong in either of you.
