Attacks against Churches in Egypt

Hello everyone,

I'm supposed to be out of the web for passion week, but recent events in Egypt has caused me to ask these questions:

"Are these attacks organized by Islamic terrorists?"
"Is the government conceiling relevant information from the public?"

17 April 2006, Cairo, Egypt (30n03, 31e15), 21:34 GMT+2

As some of you may already have heard, 3 Churches were attacked last Friday in Alexandria Egypt. One Christian died and 17 others were wounded. The police is giving contradicting statements and are currently blaming the whole thing on one guy claiming that he is mentally unstable. I was ready to buy that until I heard that an attempt to attack another Church today in Cairo was frustrated by the police who now claim that this new attacker is also mentally unstable!

Coming to think of it, most attacks like these have always involved menttaly unstable Muslim extremists! The government always tries to convice the public that such attacks are individual incidents, not terrorist attacks.

This is what the BBC initially had to say about the Friday attacks.

Help, please. I'm really starting to worry here.

Hi Nora

This chart, again has 19 Virgo on the Midheaven, the same degree that keeps showing up in your horaries.

Antares-Aldebaran on the ASC-DSC axis, 7th house ruler, Mercury, the attacker(s), square Mars - that's pure aggresivity. Mercury is in Jupiter's term and triplicity = his attack might have been motivated by religious beliefs, but doesn't exclude a disharmonic violent personality, which is a degree of a mental illness.

But Mercury is in Aries and the turned 10th house, which is relevant for an individual wanting to assert himself, looking to attract the eyes of the public on himself, rather than the act of an organized group.

My take on this chart is that this was the act of a single individual, who later inspired another one to do the same.

As for the governement, the 10th house is also ruled by Mercury. Neptune is inconjunct the MC, so there might be some information that was not given out, yet isn't that what ALL governments do...?!

So, nothing to worry about here... Happy Easter!

Thanks Radu,

I was really worried that if those were organized attacks that churches would be in danger during Passion Week, the busiest week of the year in churches.

Thanks and Happy Esater to you.

PS Virgo 19 keeps showing up in my horaries? Really? Interesting.

Yes, remember the streets' lights horary? And that one about your friend about to go to work abroad? And there might have been another one, older.

Re: Attacks against Churches in Egypt

These attacks are really shocking. But some people will always be there who will take shelter to violence to destroy other faiths. The positive side is--even more people will always condemn such attacks. The world will never turn into a hell.
