Planets conjunct North Node

Hi all,

does anyone have a planet conjunct NN? I find that a huge deal is made of the NN, but planets conjunct it aren't talked about it as much, which seems odd to me, shouldn't they be of great significance for considering the life path?

I've Jupiter conjunct my NN in the 10th of Aries. Aries gives qualities such as initiation, leadership, courage, strength, detrmination and individuality, but also rashness, impulsiveness, egoism. The 10th house being the house of highest visibility, the house of the public and image, the house of career and ambition, the house of reputation. The North Node which, I know little about, gives broadstroke impressions of an individual's future, destiny - the qualities that need to be cultivated, where and how.

I find that the expression of the planet conj. the nn gets enhanced, it becomes stronger.
I also heard an interesting statement recently which stated that the mother
influenced the child extremely in terms of the qualities represented by the planet conj or square the nn. That is a proposal I am testing at the moment.

Ive got Neptune in Sagitarius conjunct the North Node in the 12th house. I have always been drawn to Neptunian things, spirituality, crystals, healing, tarot, yoga. I also seek peace and tranquility, it is my life goal, also to teach what I've learned about these things. I have also had experience with the lower forms of Neptune too but found these to be very enlightening though no longer go there.

Interesting concept about the planet square the North Node, relating to how the mother influences the child. I wonder why this would involve the mother. My Moon is also square my North Node. Moon is in Pisces and my Mum is Pisces. My Mum is artistic and she did influence me in this way giving me loads of creative things to do when growing up. And we love to talk about spirituality and all those things listed above. I can see how in my case my Mother was involved in my life path N Node goals, but if the Sun is in aspect, would that then relate to the father influencing the child?

My node stands alone, but is eleven degrees from my mars. Mars has always been an important planet, transits to my mars makes things happen. Even more than venus and venus is my chart ruler...

I have my moon conjunct my north node in the 3rd with the moon on ic. I haven't checked much so far what this conjunction with the north node means, but the moon does seems like a rather big influence for me. Maybe this conjunction indeed strengthens the moon's qualities and with it being on the ic even more so possibly. But I've learned my moon influence could also have something to do with having the sun in the 12th with cancer on the 12th house cusp. I never ever feel full moons, though. So after all, maybe my moon isn't such a big thing in my chart at all, heh.

That's interesting, and it's very true for me. I have moon conjunct north node and my mother was an extremely caring, nurturing, loving and protective mother for me, who was always there for me when needed. Maybe the moon on ic had an influence there as well, though, so I can't say for sure it's only the moon north node conjunction with that.

That's because transiting Mars is the 'ignition key' to triggered and timings of transits.....
