What do I need to change about myself in order to be successful?

I am a shy person sometimes but I do not like to say that but rather would like to say that I don't like to give up on myself. The reason for this is I feel that I need to keep on doing things to better myself in any situation that I feel will give me an advantage in life. Some how I know that the way my chart was formed when I was born will help me figure out how. What do I need to change about myself in order to be successful?:60:

I came up with something. It is about how my energies are focused. But I am having difficulties understanding their meanings. Okay, more constructively. Successful at what? And in what way are you unsuccessful at the moment?

I have a question for you: are you a little scatter-brained, restless? Do you find it hard to see tasks through to the end? How easy do you find it to work in a humdrum, rule-ridden environment?

Are you a bit of a dreamer insofar that you have a lot of ideas, but perhaps not so sure yet about how to make them 'work?'

I don`t think that the right question is ``What do I need to change``. The right question would be: ``What talents do I have`` or ``What is given to me in my natal`` or ``Where do I have to give emphasis in order to be successfull`` - is it for example, working from home or some artistic activity...
I don`t even think that change is possible anyway. The way I see astrology is learning to follow our true nature. Discovering it, discovering what is ``given`` to us, and folloing that path in order to be ``succesful``.
For me, professional succes means internal satisfaction - feeling good with the job I do, people I cooperate, having possibility to divelope myself....
I also admire people who have beautiful family and they are succesful too. And maybe never had a ``career`` in their life... that is beautiful too - and means succes also....

I am sorry, I would like to be successful at communicating to people better. That refers to family, friends, co-workers, and new people. I think I would have a better advantage in my career if I communicated to others better. Some of my problems of communicating to others are as followed. I like to talk but can get very reserved after a while of communicating. I have problems focusing on what the other person is saying to me because I am thinking about how I look to others and of other personal things.

Nexus7 I do get restless, like there is more I should be doing and then I relise there is but I have difficulties in commiting to a task that I give myself. Maybe it is beacause the rules I give myself to want to go foward on my tasks. For example I would think to myself, if I clean the house then I would be doing a good thing and that would make me a better person. Then I think to myself, as I start to get ready to do my task, that I don't care if cleaning the house will make me a better person. There is always something more for me to do and that is another reason I find it difficuty commiting to a task. I am a bit of a dreamer. I do get ideas for my hobbies that I like to do but I am not certain at first how to work them. I would have to research ideas for them and I try to create my plans out of these ideas and eventually come up with something that works but it involves lots of commitment. It is not a problem but commitment is needed in order to see any progress in my projects. Therefore I would need to make myself strong willed in order to see these projects through.

natasa812, I to feel the same way as you and perhaps my quetion was not the right one. I would like to know what talents do I have that will help me be successful in communicating because it is very important in my career. Or what should I work on that will lead me to better communications with others.

Contentment ("success in life") will come from achieving the objectives of the North Node in Aries/9th house.........That requires you to become confident enough to assert your beliefs, being neither aggressive with nor over-awed by others when expressing them.

Job satisfaction will come from work which reflects your Taurus MC; it's ruler (Mercury) in Cancer/11th house; the dispositor of that ruler (Moon) in Sagittarius/4th house and the planet which disposits that dispositor (Jupiter) in Pisces/8th house.........So, a practical career (Taurus) involving caring for groups (Mercury/Cancer/11th) which you find emotionally uplifting (Moon in Sag/4th) and is a service that enriches the lives of others (Jupiter in Pisces/8th).

I was loking at your Moon/Uranus conjunction in Sagittarius. There could be a great deal of ingenuity with this conjunction, an openness to other cultures/higher learning, quickness of perception, there may even be something of an entrepreneurial streak - there may well certainly be the ideas there.

But all that nervous energy and wilfulness could be a tricky one to handle, at least to begin with: you may simply, just feel restless, unless you can find ways to focus a little more and get a better sense of what really draws you.

And I would not see this as something about yourself you should change, but rather, just get a better understanding of.

So what your saying EJ53 is by having day to day contact with friends and groups I will be improving on my North Node in Aries/9th house and Chiron in Gemini/10th house which can effect me entering in a career that will give me satisfaction. That sounds pretty good considering that I do have those kinds of problems, learning how to assert myself and beliefs, being neither too aggressive nor to passive, and difficulties in communicating. That is very good because the career that I am involved with needs that kind of success. I am becoming an executive chef and need to have a business man attitude.

Also will my sun, moon, and ascendant hurt me or be productive in my career success.

I noticed you are using the "astro-sentence" as a way to understand your chart. Great! I recently created a link on Step 5 (link in astrological website below this post) indicating "expanded keywords" you can use when creating the "astro-sentence".

You are confused about what actions to take in your career. So let's add in the "expanded" keywords of "career", "action", and "confusion" to your astro-sentence

to get

Duty (also career) modifying Being (also action) focused on Self Expression goes easily with Spiritual (also confusion) modifying Expansion focused on Transformation (also power)

which becomes

Career modifying Action focused on Self Expression goes easily with Confusion modifying Expansion focused on Power

So when you want to take action in your career on expressing yourself you easily get greatly confused about what kind of power you need to develop. Which describes your question exactly! As you say it is about "how your energies are focused". Remember the "focus" in any chart is the houses, so your energies are focused on self-expression and power. This indicates you want to get "recognized" and gain power. So you can USE this focus to make it happen.

The issue you mention is "communication" or "talking" so, going back again to the "expanded keywords", we see that your "talking" planet is over-excited by your "action" planet focused on self-expression. This indicates when you start talking you also get "over-excited on how your are "actively" presenting yourself. As you say, when you talk "you are thinking about how you look to others". But if you look, there is another "channel" for your "talking" planet. Your "talking" planet goes very easily with your "expansion" planet. So you have the "gift of gab"...if you don't focus on your self-expression (i.e., how you appear to others). And that "expansion" planet is your "power" planet.
