No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

Hi! Looking at my chart I have seen that I have no planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th house. I think that this is unusual situation and I`m a little bit worried, because I don`t want to believe that I will never have children or get married. What does this mean exactly ? My seventh house is in Aries, and the ruler of the 7th house ( Mars) is in the 11th, in Leo . I also have a problematic relationship that lasts for 9 years, without any marriage perspective. I do not know I should do, I don`t want to marry, I cannot escape this relationship and I feel that for years I am standin still, going nowhere with my family life. Please help me..what has the future in store for me ?

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

Hi Happy,

Would be better if you posted a chart. You gave some information, but a total view of the chart is always better than fragmented info.

Here's the link for the Help Forum, where you can read the threads "Step by Step Guide on -- How to insert an image here", and "Attaching a charts as a thumbnail".

You can also store your chart in photobucket or something like that, and put a link here for it.

Hope this helps.

Now, as for empty houses, every chart has an empty house or more. The sign of the cusp of the house has a ruler, and this one is then the ruler of the house. So, your Mars in 11th rules your 7th house. So, you'll be prone to getting into relationships with strong-willed people, sometimes proud (Mars in Leo), and the limits between love and friendship might be blurred from time to time. You might see yourself falling in love with long-time friends, or turning a lover into a friend....

With Aries in the 7th, ruled by Mars in Leo, don't expect a quiet (boring) love life... It's gonna be fire and sparks all around...

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

I have attached my chart. I know from what I have read that I will study and travel a lot, which is true until now. But I don`t know what to think about the family and what the near future will bring.
Thank you for your answers.

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

Well, 4th house of family in capricorn, ruled by Saturn in the 12th house.

The 12th house is a bit rough for Saturn. Saturn is interested in structure, and the 12th house is the house of the subconscious, of spirituality, it's like a melting pot for concrete Saturn. Maybe you feel your attempts to structure your family life do not work, as if some kind of invisible hand is always destroying everything you try to build?

Saturn is also squaring neptune, which increases the "melting" effect. I have the same square, and I feel very indecisive sometimes, as if my dreams are always getting in the way of my building something concrete in life...

It seems studies and intellectual challenges will be your companions for life. You not only have Sun in Gemini in the 9th, you also have a Gemini Mercury which implies a very curious and quick mind. Moon is in the third in Sagittarius, 3rd house is also a house of intellectual pursuit, and Moon in Sagittarius is the Moon of the Traveller...... So, I don't think your travels will stop here, both intellectual and physical travels.

You've got Venus in Cancer in midheaven. In my point of view, it might indicate that you want to be known as a caring individual, so maybe social work is something you'd be interested in doing. A sextile with Jupiter in Virgo in 11th, house of community, makes the possibility of social work stronger.

By looking at your chart (amongst other things, your north node in Leo, 11th house), I feel that you are bound to deal with the community and learn how to shine amidst the masses... In other words, I don't see a chart of someone who will quietly retire in family life one day, I kinda feel you will be engaged with activities that have an impact on a larger group of people.

I'm not an expert, so please take this reading with a grain of salt.

My two cents. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

Oh well...you were right in many ways and I often feel that somehow Life works against my dreams.
It is strange that whenever I wanted something really hard and I fought for it, it never happened; instead, I have received things that I didn`t even think about and they finally turned out really great for me..but they were not my dreams
I don`t know..I feel that things will just happen for me and there is nothing I can do to impose my will on anything.
At the same time I am my own private enemy: private matters are simply not for me ( staying home, carrying for children )..I love society, I am always in the middle of people who look up to me..but at the same time, I want a family, I want "my road", in the way that society understands this road.
So...how can I find peace with me..? Help me to understand myself better .

Oh yeah!! I could've written this! Saturn square Neptune, that's exactly how I feel, that my dreams never come to happen, but I am pushed to places and events that I have never dreamed of, and yet, they turn out to be quite a blast! Thanks for the description, I never heard a better explanation of Saturn square Neptune.

Honestly, I don't know what we can do to take life in our hands!!! :rotflmao:

When I saw your Saturn, ruler of your 4th, I had this idea that maybe you are not supposed to structure a family life and retreat into that. not so soon. Maybe you are supposed to be in some other place and situation. if you retreat into family life and kids too soon, you might not accomplish everything you should.......

But your Saturn is not drowning in Neptune's sea, he's got a good friend, Uranus in 2nd house. I don't know how it works for you, but other people I saw with uranus in 2nd often receive money out of the blue from unexpected sources.... And maybe Saturn in sextile with Uranus can help you turn this money-making into a stable process, I mean, receiving money. Don't know how you'll make it, just throwing the ideas out there. You could be a good fund raiser, who knows?

Now, I don't know how you'll find peace, that's a tough call, I'm still looking for peace for myself...

But I think your venus in midheaven indicates you might be a "social mother" somehow.... The 10th house indicates how we want to be known, the kind of thing we want to be acknowledged for. You have Cancer in MH, and Venus, which means you might be happy to shine in a maternal, domestic role. Which means you will have to combine a social standing and a motherly role. How do you do this? I don't know, ask Angelina Jolie!

Now, what I am trying to say: You might want to be involved with a different kind of motherly role. Instead of being a stay-at-home mom with kids, you might want to engage yourself with a larger group of people who take care of kids, or other people or creatures in need... That kind of thing.

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

There are all types of Astrologers use this forum but mainly fall into Traditional & Western Astrology, the differences are explained here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_astrology

I'm a modern astrologer that uses Equal house system...

Now in Equal house system your mars is in 12th house and Moon in 2nd house

Your Libra Asc is famous for procrastinating, like Pisces and Gemini and can even be tad argumentative, always looking for balance and harmony, yet at the same time, not wanting to deal with anything unpleasant...

http://www.cafeastrology.com/libra_a...isingsign.html

Saturn square Neptune= fear of unknown relating to 3rd house matters ie; communications and ruling the 6th house of type of work you do. Pisces/neptune wants to sacrifice and 'be of service' to others in a caring and sympathetic way. Also connected to 12th house matters Saturn, and Cappi ruling 4th house of family matters, home roots

Cancer MC and moon placed in 2nd sure wants to earn its own money and be self reliant, But with Sagg moon it also wants lots of freedom and independance and is notorious for settling down quite late, cos it does like to play the field first.
Mars square sun and moon= bossy mother and wilfulness at times also
Mercury square Saturn is great for studying, but can also withdraw and become a little depressed, sometimes find it hard to communicate.

Mars in 12th or 11th suggest you read the following link
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/marsinhouses.html

sun & mercury in Gemini in house of Sag suggests lots of restlessness and perpetual student who will always enjoy lifelong learning new things.

My recommendations for further study would be:-
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12556 or try http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm
http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc/
http://www.cafeastrology.com/natalastrology.html

but also look at which House system also.
Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

Re: No planets in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 8th house

I have attached my chart again.
Since my last post, I read some posts on this site and the information in the links that I received.
My Mars should probably be interpreted in the 12th house, because I don`t trust myself very much, although I have no reason for doing that and I constantly need moral support and encouragement from the others.
Regarding, the marriage and children:
- I have read here that the number of possible marriages for a woman is suggested by the number of applying aspects her Sun makes while in its sign. The same goes with the children. How can I calculate the applying aspects that are made by the Sun or other planet, before it leaves the sign..or can someone calculate it for me ?
- The transits of which planets over my 7th house in the near future are likely to influence changes in this matter ?
Thank you

Well conception is an 8th house matter and 5th house describes children and what kind of labour you might have. The 7th is your marriage house or 'significant other' or one to one relationships. Transits to the 7th house would not describe if you we to have children and astrology can only predict possibilities, no absolute certainties....

Perhaps after learning a few basics you could try asking a horary question with regards having children.

when you say 'applying aspects' it sounds like you are refering to Secondary progressions, which are quite easy, But still you need the basics first.

Here are my personal recommend beginners links to focus upon Natal charts:-
I hope that you come here and want to learn about astrology and join in with exchanges. There ever expanding Education forum here and lots more to explore. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12556 or try http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm

House systems
Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.
Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

Conception as a creative thing belongs to the fifth, not eighth house. Eighth house is the death of things, not birth or creation of things.
