I just wanted to ask,how many children will I have?

This would be better as a horary query, I agree.

5th house cusp is in Libra, Venus in Aries in the 10th house. Work with children? 10th is also the house of institutions, adoption maybe? I'm just exploring possibilities.

Libra, as an air sign is barren but I've heard most fire signs were considered to be semi barren.

Saturn is also in the 5th, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't have children. You might have them late in life, or you just might have trouble relating to them in one way or another.

Moon is also in a barren sign.

I'd say small family. Remember, you have to take the partner's chart in consideration, too.

Supposedly, counting the aspects the fifth lord makes is an easy way to tell.
Venus is conjunct mars, which is one child, probably male. Venus trines Uranus. I'd say 1-2 children.

Whether we look to the Natal Chart or Horary, the following are the guidelines for positive indications of Children:

-- The Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, the 5th and its Ruler, the Lot of Fortune and its Ruler.

--Fruitful signs for Children are all the Water Signs, Taurus, Sagittarius and Aquarius (although this can be speculative).

--Houses 1, 4, 10 and 11.

Remember that the Lot of Fortune acts as a Secondary Ascendant.

Be sure and use Whole Sign Houses.

If one uses the birthchart for the Horoscope, and it provides not so favorable indications, remember that a positive Solar Return chart and fruitful indications of the above formulas can actually override the natal chart, for that year.

Looking at the Nativity Chart, we see Saturn conjunct the South Node in the 5th. There is obviously a fear that she will not have children. Scorpio rules over the womb itself, and this may indicate that in a past life she had many comlications.

Further, the ruler of the chart is void of course and peregrine in the 12th house, in a barren sign. Not so positive, to say the least. This further shows that she has a serious psychological predisposition towards feeling unable to nurture and care for others, trapped inside of her fear. The last aspect made to the Moon was a trine to Mercury, the Moon's Ruler, which was in Detriment and Fall in Pisces. Yikes.

What is obvious is that this person has past life memory of some very negative experiences regarding children and loved ones, and needs to overcome this -- at all costs.

Once this is done, she will have children. But until then, she ought not to even try, because her fear of losing the child would still remain, and this would demage the child psychologically.

So, how many you ask ? 2 Children, wanting another one after the first in order to better your parenting skills, then stopping. Mars in that position creates males and not females, without question.

Like Rayaustin said the number of aspects with the ruler of 5th??

I had read that Aquarius being an air sign too is a barren sign and Sag also..
My chart ruler is Venus (Taurus rising) and my 5th house cusp is in Leo..
Venus conjunct my 5th ruler Sun in Aqua in 10th house..
I used to think that i won't have children or maybe only one child.. (one child coz i have 5th cusp in Leo)..

I've anotehr question here, i read William Lilly says that any planet near sun or within 17 degrees of Sun is "burnt" or "weaken" except Mars which is strengthen. So, what do you think about my Venus conjuncts Sun??
It's wierd again because i read another rule that says that If AC ruler conjuncts 5th ruler, native has children???

Sanaqua, Mars is not an exception to the rule, though this did come up on the forum previously. Combustion (negatively) befalls every planet.

You are reading/studying Traditional astrology, I feel, cos these rules don't apply with modern astrology. I have Sun conj venus = Cheerful ‑ Love of life. Very gently person inside!

Its extremely hard to say with 100% accuracy (although some will immediately disagree with me) that astrology can 'predict' the future, but give trends/ideals/possibilities.....

Whole house system is rather debatable also, most here use placidus and other unequal size houses, whilst I myself use Equal House, the oldest and (in my opinion of course) the most reliable....
