What an awful day to ask, will I get the job?

Hi

Well, I asked, will I get the job?

I'm working as temporary for a company, but have to have an interview there (they have advertised the job internally). They say its more than likely I'll get the job but its taking so long to get the interview and the contract runs out at the end of Jan.

I am Venus
Job is Saturn

Venus doesn't recieve Saturn by being in Pisces. Its more in Mars terms and triplicity.
Saturn does recieve Venus by triplicity and fall.

This doesn't look too good.

Venus will conjunct Uranus then oppose Saturn in 1-2 degrees. Don't know how to take that, looks like a seperation.

That Mars rules my enemy (7th house). It sits in the 10th house. Mars is in exhaltation (loves themselves) and loves Saturn being in his domain. Is it someone who already works at the company??? Saturn doesn't recieve Mars though. Does this mean, even though there is a Mars/Saturn trine, that Mars doesn't get the job?

Moon has just squared Venus, will square Uranus, then finally square Saturn. This looks to me like the end of the job. Moon also rules the 4th house - the end of the matter.

POF at 29 degrees Pisces. Is there some good luck on the horizon?

I do appreciate any views, thanks in advance for any help.

Heh. Well.
I think it went to the enemy, Mars -- 7th house in 10th house, exalted no less. Venus is cadent from the 7th house, which means you would be hardly noticed, even though you are in exaltation. Moon also squares Saturn without reception. It's a no. Looks like someone more qualified (probably a man) or glorified, beat you to it! The job (Saturn) opposes Venus, which is another confirmation of no.

Yes there are no's all over the place in that chart.

I'm not sure what happened, there is a new guy starting on Monday, an 'Operations Manager'. I had a funny feeling about him when I shook his hand - they showed him around a few weeks ago. Aaaah thinking about it now, that is 3 degrees, or 3 days from now - when Mars trines Saturn. Grrrrrr. His handshake was so limp and the eye contact minimal!

I guess they will tell me next week, its the final week of our contracts and they need to give us one weeks notice.

I really appreciate you looking Ray, thanks alot.

LOL, I know, it seems being charming doesn't do much these days. I love going on interviews and shaking the boss's hand, and especially when its a lady--their hands are always cold for some reason and they barely squeeze yours.

If its the guy I'm thinking of, yes he is young, and very business like.

Haha! I know what you mean when shaking ladies' hands. I'm a lady but I give a firm handshake. I always feel uneasy with soft handshakes.

Hi

Well me and the other temp were told today, the interviews are delayed until Feb, so they are extending our temporary contracts by one month, so either party can give one week's notice.

We both have a bad feeling about this.

I did another chart for this question, will I get the job?

I was Venus
Job was Saturn.
Moon at 2 degrees Pisces.

Moon will conjunct Uranus first,
oppose Saturn,
then conjunct Venus.

BTW Mars rules the 7th, (in this new chart) and sits exhalted in the 10th, still!!! I bet that is the new guy, operations manager - otherwise known as the hirer and firer manager. lol

Definatley looks like its going to end in about 18 days.

I got the job today

12th Feb at 1.25pm.
So the temp job will end on 27th Feb, and the permanent job will start 2nd March. I'm not even sure if anyone else went for the job. Woo hee, drinks on me!

I see now that it was overlooked translation of light.

The separating square to Venus and applying square to Saturn. Moon has Venus's light while being in Saturn's dignities, and brings you to the job, Saturn. But due to the weakness of the other significators, this is probably why it took so long. You are also angular from the job, showing that you would be noticed and considered. The moon in the chart represents paperwork and communication, so perhaps it was due to a very good resumé or the way you spoke in your interview, or a superb application. Something like that.

Thats another new thing I've learned from you Ray, about a significator being angular from the other significator. Very interesting. Yup the squares could have also showed the difficulties. Its good to see squares don't always mean no.

They said they liked my application, of course I thought they were joking. Perhaps they meant it!

It was one degree for the Moon to square Saturn, and the POF square happens in 9 degrees. Perhaps that is 8-9 months? The POF is in Venus exhaltation, Saturn terms, Mars triplicity. Neptune, the parts really can't be squared too, the energy is mostly realized through conjunction; and the POF probably isn't very useful in a question like this.

Yay, so it was good paperwork after all.

I thought this a good learning experience, because the moon was very weak! The quesited being retrograde also implied certain delays. I would have thought that the moon's 8th house position be very debilitating, but then again that could also be the house of work related documents! So it makes sense, we are again confirming a successful interview or successful paperwork.
