Hi there, are we even looking at the same chart here? I would not, in any way consider this man to be a perfect husband.

Nulwee, indicators for abuse are many. Each chart is different. Often you see a very stressed 4th house and strong pluto and Mars aspects and connected with Moon, Venus and Sun. Sometimes it is the 12th house (secrecy, sceletons in the closet) or the ruler in connection with the 4th house. Mental abuse with Mercury.
It is different everytime, but Pluto is a strong one for sexual abuse, Mars for physical abuse.

In this chart no hard aspects, but more the placements itself, all leading to the 8th house, notoriously a difficult, psychic house and dealing with all sorts of trauma's. So when ruler 4 is in 8, you already should get a warning sign.

Should only ruler 10 be in 8, then it is a different thing altogether. The career could involve 8th house matters.
And not always planets in 8 do show abuse either. It is really a thing of combined aspects and placements. Your intuition leads you to it.

Sometimes the abuse is not seen as abuse by the child but as a sort of love (adults can be very devious bringing it like that). Yet, the child does also realise that there is something not really OK with it (maybe that Sun inconjunct Asc.).
Often you see Neptune aspects, the confusion element, connected somewhere in the whole set-up.
