neptune- saturn transit

Hello!

I have upcoming neptune square saturn transit and discussed it with my friend who´s into astro. She had a bit different view than what I´ve read.

Greene seems very negative on this and her forecast rubricates it "dark forebodings" and then lists loads of bad things that could happen beginning from catching a stubborn flu. Well it´s a three year transit so I don´t know how to take this On the other hand she lists things that are already present in my life and have been so for a while already. According to her the transit is already on.

G. says: certain old structures and attitudes are breaking down and giving way so that a more flexible adaptation to life may develop in their place. But at the moment you are in the in-between stage, which can seem uncomfortable and vulnerable.

You may realise that you have been particularly defensive in
your fear of being rejected or controlled in close relationships,
whether you have been aware of this defensiveness or not.
Your barriers have probably grown more rigid over the years,
to protect you from hurts which trigger older hurts. - Very true, she ends with calling this transit a process of growth.

Both Greene and Hand stress the anxiety of this transit : During this time you will have problems with insecurity and anxiety that seem to have no apparent cause.

I´m born anxious (Saturn and sun oppos neptune in natal chart?)

Hand thinks this transit begins march -09 and says it is a transit when I´ll feel like withdrawing from everything and even suggests becoming a nun.

So I had to discuss this with my friend since I´ve for a few years already been living like a nun and giving up material posessions. I´m taurus and born into an extremely material family so this hasn´t been easy for me. But I just felt the urge of doing so. Hand puts more emphasis on the material side and giving it all up while Greene goes deep into psychology. My friend said that this transit is not so personal since people born in the same year or months will experience this transit too. She said one should therefore think about the houses. Saturn is in my seventh house and she instantly said, blurry relations with a neptunian.

I´ve been pondering this. My friend suggested some sort of problems in relships coming up, but when I explained I don´t really have any relationships (the nun thing) she had no answer. What do you think?

About 3 years ago my long relship ended and since then I´ve been alone. There was this guy but, our future seems rather uncertain. We like eachother but he´s neptunian indeed. Drunkard. We have been separated for months now with only a little contact. This neptune saturn transit is my only transit to my seventh house. Why I think about all this is cause my relships have been nothing but blurry and difficult and all consuming for many years. Before I broke up with my expartner we had a few difficult years, then came singlehood and then came this "thing" that maybe isn´t over yet. In terms of astrology I have no end in sight for these ordeals. Because nomatter what I do (therapy, yoga, prozac, coaching, nice job, staying away from alco, etc) doesn´t help I´m prone to think I´m doomed.

Does anybody have an insight about this neptune square saturn in H7? I´d be grateful to hear.

Christmas greetings

I think this transit has to do with working on "figuring out" how to use your birth Neptune (spirituality) opposite (energy is over-excited by) Saturn (duty, also structure) in your life. This opposition indicates a "fight" between the urge to be "spiritual", and the urge to be practical and structured in your life. The focuses in the birth chart are between the 1rst house (being) and the 7th house (relationships), so it is a "push and pull" between you personally (1rst house) and your one-on-one encounters (7th house). The challenge is to find a balance where you are not floating in the sky (Neptune) or hiding under a rock (Saturn). You need to develop some structure (Saturn) in your relationships (7th house) while allowing yourself some personal "spiritual time" (Neptune). More here:

Spiritually structured,

Tim

Re: neptune- saturn transit

Thanks Tim.

I always believed the man would stand for the structure and that I could just float around and be lovable

Guess I`ll finally have to realize that aint gonna happen in my life...

Re: neptune- saturn transit

nice interpretation Tim...

I have heard that this aspect natally is = fear of unknown and can be depressive. Prob cos of Saturn influence wanting someone to work hard, be dutiful, respectful, but everything also gets delayed, frustrated and Neptune really doesnt quite know what it wants, so it sort of ends up in stalemate...
