Will I get job soon?

I am disturbed with the way things are happening in my life. My relationships are in mess, and finances messier. All my existence now depends on me getting a decent job soon.

I can see Moon (chart ruler) in 5H exact Semi-square to Jupiter in 7H, traditional ruler of 10H (Pisces) or 6H (Saggi).

Moon in Scorpio and Combust? Of course conjunct many others in same 5 house. Plus Jupiter is in Aqua, Conj Venus - nothing related to job or career, looks more towards relationship direction

If I take Neptune as ruler of 10H, it is in 9H but no aspects to Moon

Looks like a tough scene to get a job now. Please help me interpret more here.

Re: Will I get job soon?

Hi Cathy, I am afraid that it will still take a while. Moon being combust is usually very bad and not only that, Moon is also in the Via Combusta. Usually things dont turn out well during this period.

In horary we only use the main Ptolemaic aspects, conjunction, trine, square, sextile and opposition. Lately the inconjunct is also slowly being introduced by some (myself included), but semi-squares and other minor aspects are actually never used. Anthony Louis does look at a semi-sextile only when they are absolutely exact in degree. He sees some significant meaning in that, but otherwise this aspect is not used. Also Chiron is not used. nor any other asteroid.

Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are also never used as significators of houses or quisitor/quisited.
In the time of William Lilly, these planets did not exist yet, so we only use traditional planets. the modern astrologers do use them, but more as indicators of certain happenings (Uranus= sudden things, divorce, change), Neptune as disappointment, lies, being unrealistic, etc.

Now in this chart Moon rules you and you are indeed not in the best of shapes right now and Jupiter (not Neptune) rules the 10th house and Jupiter is also not really marvellous in his sign where he is in fall.Moon is not going to make a Ptolemeic aspect with Jupiter.
Moon will also square the cusp of the 10th house which could show a contact between you and work, but has to overcome some hurdles first, like going over Mercury and Mars. Mercury rules your 12th and 4th house, so maybe it is a bit difficult for you to leave your home and get out there because of lack of confidence (combust Moon) and Mars rules the 11th and the intercepted 5th. Maybe a friend or a love relationship are holding you up.

In about 12° Moon will have left the combustion zone and things might start looking better. Moon will then also be in term of Venus (co-ruler of the house of hopes and wishes, the 11th) and square Uranus which could show a sudden unexpected event related to a new job because Uranus is found in the 10th house. Now 12° could be around 12 weeks or so (I hope it is not 12 month! because traditionally the Moon in a succedent house and mutable sign means month). As the situation is critical in your case, I cannot imagine that it would take that long for you to find a new job.
The Part of Fortune exactly on the Ascendant is a great help here and could diminish the less fortunate aspects in this chart.

The end of the matter house, ruled by Mercury who is also combust, shows equally that things dont look too fortunate. You will have to wait until Mercury and Moon both have moved out from under the sunbeams for things to improve.

In the meantime have a look at this:

Re: Will I get job soon?

That's a wonderful explanation, thanks a lot Starlink.

I was going through the sites / links and trying to see if I can read more into it. As you said, I am in bad postion with respect to job right now. But the reason behind my question is financial distress. Does that still point to same answer of not good period, or can I read more into the same chart to see if help coming my way (if not job) till I find a job? If I am right, we look only for the question asked in the 1st instance but use same chart for any linked questions. What do I look for finances in a chart, is it 2H ruler (Sun)?

You are right about some friend / lover stopping me, though I would not say he is stopping my job pursuits. I wanted to relocate for better opportunities and he had chosen this very period to move in with me and I am forced to stay in same place. And even he is jobless and pennyless right now. Both had wonderful jobs till recently. If he gets employment, I will be saved or these expected 12 weeks sounds like a death knell in my current situation. Do I have to ask in a seperate question for that?

Re: Will I get job soon?

Apart from learning how drab future is going to be, I would rather love to learn more about horary.

As I mentioned earlier, in case I can use same chart to see if he gets a job to assist me till I get one (job to pay bills when he is living with me), I look at Saturn as 7H ruler and for his job do I look at 10H from 7H?

In that sense, it is 4H ruled by Virgo / Mercury. Saturn is in 4H, though he is in career house, I guess it is not too good sign as Saturn is not applying aspect to Mercury in 5H and Mercury is in fall in Saggitarius.

I guess it gets confusing if I keep looking in same chart for everything

Re: Will I get job soon?

Hi there,

A horary chart can only be used for one question; so a question about someone else getting a job, will require another, different chart.

Cheers,
AG

I guessed I was making a goof up. I have created another chart but again I am confused if I take AC ruler (Moon) as my significator or his significator. Do I take myselt as querent and him/his job as quesied or he is querent and his job is quesied?

My question was will XXX get a job? Sorry for being so dumb.
