saturn transit moon (Sade Sati)

Hi Guys, I'd like a consensus of views and opinions about something please

Have you people heard of a transit known in India called Sade sati. This is where Saturn transits the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from one natal moon sign. From what I understand I brings loss of wealth/prestige, happiness, health and brings mental turmoil to the individual.

Is this superstition? I'd like to hear some stories or experiences please. I had mine about 8 years ago (My moon sign is gemini).

Thanks!
