Will I Be Okay Working From Home?

Okay-hold your breath.

This is a study in Horary for me.

My question: Will I be successful self-employed? (working from home)

Success to me means food the fridge, rent is paid, and my 2 year old son and I have a more balanced life. No long car rides to get to the office in the cold of winter, no worries about mommy getting let go at her job because of project budget issues. (or the in-the-toilet economy)

I will be working out of my home by helping the elderly find support through in-home care -- keeping them in their own homes and out of retirement homes which are AWFUL in the U. S.

So here is my analysis:

There must be an aspect between the ruling planet of the Querent and the ruler of the Quesited.

Questions:
Should I also be looking at Sun as a Querent since Leo is also in the 1st house?
Should I also be looking at the 6th house and MC as the Quesited?

Actually, working from home isn't a 4th house issue: it's a 10th house issue (it's a job, wherever it's based).

The answer is 'YES'!

The Moon applies next to the Sun in a trine; the Sun, ruler of your finances, sits in the 5th house...I assume this places the focus on your son and your concern for his well-being. The sun is not strong in Scorpio, so don't expect to become a millionaire just yet. But the applying trine indicates that this will be a good way of working for you and at the least you'll be able to make ends meet, which is often enough when weighing your other options. The Sun aspects Jupiter and Saturn; this may have something to do with making sure you've got the right paperwork (Saturn in the 3rd; Jupiter is the 6th ruler of 'very hard work') and probably indicates you'll work hard for your money; but these are positive aspects so in the end you'll be okay. Just keep at it.

The job itself (again, in the 5th house) is Mars, VERY strong and in a nearly exact trine to the Ascendant. The Sun moves toward Mars and also applies to trine the Ascendant.

In other words, you'll be just fine.

The Sun is in the 5th house; not angular! In its own face is good, but this isn't a strong 'money' aspect. It's good for quality of life, though.

The Moon won't oppose Saturn in this chart; it has to get through Saturn and Jupiter first, so we shouldn't really consider it.
