Is moon really void?

Hi all.

Right now the moon is at 25 degrees of Aquarius. No more aspects before she leaves the sign. However, when she enters Pisces she will quickly trine Mars at 4 Scorp.
The allowable orb for the moon is 10 degrees 18 minutes.
Here, the moon will trine Mars in 9 degrees. Can we say then, that the moon is not technically void?

Hi barbh,

It's within orb of an aspect, so it's not technically void. However, it needs to change signs to do so...this can represent a problem, especially since the Moon is peregrine in Aquarius and remains peregrine in Pisces, mostly. Lilly said of a void Moon, 'Things seldom go handsomely forward'. This isn't the same things as 'nothing will come of it', which is a more modern interpretation...and even Lilly sometimes ignored his own rules. I don't think VOC is a cut-and-dried thing...does Mars receive the Moon? It will...into triplicity; but Mars is in Scorpio, where the Moon has its fall, so these things need to be considered as well.

VOC moons (and whether they even are VOC) are my biggest headache!
