Mutual Reception between Jupiter and Uranus

Okay I've heard just a little about Mutual Reception between planets, not so much in charts but in history. However, I do possess one mutual reception (is this very common?) and that is between my Jupiter in Aquarius and my Uranus in Sagittarius. I know there are certain things that can prevent a mutual reception, but I didn't find any for mine. My Jupiter is sextile my Uranus, and neither signs are in detriment or fall. I would just like to know if anyone knows what this means or can provide any insight...this is astrology at a higher level than I am familiar with, although I like to think I am progressing

Also, I would absolutely love if someone told me about their mutual receptions within their chart, and their experiences in it.

What little I know is that they can change places with each other.....there is a way out. So I can imagine that it might be your escape valve when either of the planets are in play in transits. Look to the house they are in, what they rule, sign etc....that may give you clues.

So I would guess that transits is the next thing I would go into research about...

I do know that my Uranus is in Sagittarius in the 8th house, but then again it is a generational planet and in my feelings, doesn't have much to do with me individually, but according to this site it states "Those born in this generation have the ability to receive intuitively from the planetary mind new philosophical directions and new horizons for society's moral behavior. Disruption occurs in hanging on to belief systems and moral attitudes that justify old social behaviors.
." My Jupiter is in Aquarius in the 11th, and I've heard this means "With Jupiter in the Eleventh House you will find luck, ease of working and general good fortune through generous friendships and social activities within groups or clubs. This position of Jupiter brings true, influential and fortunate friends, and associations with prominent persons - legislators, senators, judges, bankers, doctors, professors, etc. Development and gain can be expected through such acquaintances. Social success, popularity and honour can be expected."

I will look into transits but I was just wondering what, if anything, else this could possibly mean.

Of course the 8th is rebirth, loss and death too and the 11th hopes, dreams, wishes, and friendships. I would look to transits to those planets by square or opp. and see what played out for you. More recently I have notiiced an increasing emphasis on the planets transits themselves so Uranus and jupiter transiting and in play as well as those planets activited may show some significant activity with those planets. YOu add in progression activity or solar arc particularly and you might see how mutual recetption took place. It would be with tthmes possibly of suddeness, hopes, loss, etc...

I have the exact same thing, my Jupiter is in Aquarius and my Uranus in Sagittarius; I am not too familiar with mutual reception, so hopefully I can mooch information from this thread for my own benefit

My Uranus is in the 4th while my Jupiter is in the 6th.

Of course 4th is home or parents and 6th is health or coworkers and the work itself. You might find the ability or opportunities have come up where work/home or health/family have come up in mild to moderate situations such that you could use the erratic nature of Uranus or the expansion of Jupiter, luck etc. That is just food for thought.I think transiting Neptune and Uranus are in a state of mutual reception and for those whose planets they affect (moi for example) I seem to be able to make a more conscious choice between the compassion, dreamy side of Neptune vs Uranus erratic reaction. Both planets contact my moon and sun (sun at 22 degrees Gemini in the 3rd communication and moon at 22 degrees Virgo in the 6th) and Jupiter will perfect contact at 24 degrees in the 8th. Since they are a few degrees away from perfection I feel like the energies are getting stronger yet also I am more able to choose. I am still undecided on which is better for I tend to be a bit passive so the Uraniun energy feels at least outward but there is this desire for "lets change it all right now!" and I have to hold down that impulse but I do sort of go "did I say that out loud?" quite a bit these days

I think I did it several times at a meeting today and by the time I got home I thought "this has been a uraniun day' Wasn't the moon in Aquarius too....lord. Anyway, I think you get the drift...it is an energy that you will feel and might be able to make a choice in certain situations that others will wonder "I am not sure I could have done that or seen that...that is just one possibility as I see it.

Hmm yes, well- my last job, I discovered they were hiring through my mother, but I haven't had many jobs in my day so

. Of course, that job did not work out, right after one of those eclipses in August, so just as someone hinted at- it was not a long term job.

When it comes to my health, currently I am struggling to heal still (major nerve damage), but with work- I am looking as of now and hope to get hired here soon.

With Uranus, it tends to make my family life very chaotic, and with Sag it tends to make it rather.. hm... I'd say come and go at times; for me though, when I have my own "home" I don't think it'll be a very typical home, heh.

Sag almost implies that I will have a unique, potentially many homes, but with my life currently, it is like that- last year, when I fought with my father, lived over here with my mother, this year after I came back from the hospital I lived with my father- now we are fighting (well, complicated situation) and I am yet again living with my mother.

My mother and I fight on and off, all the time, so

Hope to next year move back to university and complete my degree, and then be out of a family house for good.

With Jupiter, like I said, haven't worked much- but from not dying last year, I find that the 6th house Jupiter brought me luck in that I am not paralyzed from the spinal fracture.

Bless you... i would say you are lucky as I work with a rehab. hospital and seen the worst of it...it is a hard road. There is the Uranus (electric...nerves) and Jupiter (luck)I know it does not feel like it. I hate to ask but what did your transit chart look like around your accident? and your solar? I am curious if Uranus or Jupiter played a part either in protection or aggravation of the event. It does sound like Uranus and jupiter play a part in the family too with erratic and also potential benefits Jupiter is classically the planet of travel in sag no less.

Oh really? I wish I could find a doctor that would take my self pay so I can get a prescription for a new physical therapist.

When I had what happened to me, I could upload the transits for that day if you wish.

Well the only thing I can see is saturn doing a number on your ASC and house cusps and the sun conj. the IC. I see that jupiter and uranus are just past a square and jupiter has just past a conj. with uranus. The only thing I can see in relation to this idea of mutual recpetion is that if we transpose uranus into jupiters natal spot of 9 degrees than we see that saturn contacts it by an inconjunct and it rules the 6th house of illness. We know too that saturn has moved forward now and squares uranus in the 4th but if we use the same principle we might see jupiter energized for a more beneficial sitatuion. If you live in the states you shouldbe eligible for SSI/SSDI and a medicaid card with a spinal cord injury. Most faciliites would have applied for you/ As long as doctor feels that you will be unable to work doing any activity you should qualify and the medicaid card should go back to the point of application.

Well actually, heh, with that whole Medicade deal- it really means nothing, over where I live- I am having to pay from pocket for a specialist, for my worst problem, and another doctors don't take it and say it's illegal for them to have me if I have no insurance- I get SSI, which is good since I am currently looking for a job but; haha, yeah- I was still healing when I got the Medicade and still am, but ever since about June, I was at a point where I could work again.
