Solar arc sign change

I just noticed after studying up on solar arcs for a bit, that my mercury and north node are about to change signs.
My mercury is about to enter aquarius, and my node is about to enter libra. Right now they are both at 29 degrees
Merc enters in decemeber i think, and the node in may, and is also crossing over my AC soon
This is a pretty big deal right? I would think this would make a huge change in these forces of my life.
My natal merc is critical degree 0 CAP and rules my 4th, 5th, and co-rules 7th. Transiting pluto has been running him over since last decemberish

I also notice that solar arc moon is currently grounding my yod

Re: Solar arc sign change

I love the chart, (what program is it)

Solar Arc Pluto is nowhere near you natal mercury.

I can see you will have Solar Arc Sun conjoined with Venus in about two years time, that will definitely be interesting.

The mercury changing signs will definitely change your menatl processes, I had mine move into Capricorn, and i think i may have become more realistic, though admitedly at times depressed. Think I can work on it though. that happened about a year ago. So the move into Aquarius should be a more inventive, exciting outlook, mental awareness, understanding, maybe a little contrary...

Can you spot any Squares and oppositions now or in future formation?

I had myself all excited over that too..at first...
-T. Saturn will be making tsquare with my sun moon/opposition
-T. Uranus will be opposing my saturn
It makes me real curious as to what will be going on at that time

yes, midpoints are allowed since the person who wrote the most about the solar arc also is expert on midpoints, using square, opposition, conjunction and semi-square only.

I think you can also count the aspects to the angles. If a solar arc planet changes sign this is important, and I don't see why it should not be applied to the houses as well.

Especially the Angles. Not completely sure of it, but that would be something to confirm.

Solar Arc angles conjunct natal positions? Not so sure about that one, would be interested what you think on it.

Re: Solar arc sign change

hey wait..just seen a couple..
venus will oppose mars and
jupiter will square my sun

this combined with my transits for around this time ---> throw relationships in a blender and put on high for 45 minutes?

A change of house or sign would be significant in a progressed chart, but not in a directed chart. Sepharial is the one who developed Solar Arcs and Vivian Robson expanded it, so you can read what he (Vivian is a "he") wrote if you're interested.

Trines, sextiles, semi-sextiles and quincunxes aren't part of the Solar Arc equation either. It's 0°, 45°, 90°, 135° and 180° (and then they repeat).

Re: Solar arc sign change

thank you bob
good to know...so the aspects i already noticed are still valid then
I want to try to do some more reading on it when i get a chance.
How about aspects made between solar arc and progressed? Say if progressed moon makes one of the aspect you listed to one of my SA planets?

I am curious as to why a change of sign and house are meaningless in solar arc.

But I can see good reasons for this.

Solar arc pluto, if you have pluto in natal scorpio you will always feel it as a scorpio pluto. I can see why that would be the case.

Dont think thats what he meant hon...... SA planets even manually are moved/1' per year for however old you are now, and are significant when they change signs and especially over the Angles, perhaps not so much in Cadent houses, cos its less obvious.

I personally love solar arcs but do not use against, progressed, just natal... .hope that helps bit
