Transit Neptune square Natal Mars

Transit Neptune is exactly square my natal Mars in Taurus in the 5th. What should I be feeling?

watch out for accidents....neptune is confusion, not paying attention, daydreaming, and also compassion and mars is our assertive energy. You want to look at not only where your mars is but what it rules. Since neptune hangs around a long time in a transit I would look for supplemental transits of other planets, maybe quicker planets.

I just spotted this transit is just a few minutes from being exact for me. I'm really concerned by what I've been reading about it,

neptune mars aspects can be extremely problematic. sort of like a jet boat getting stuck on a sandbar.
~engines roaring, but the steering goes astray.
look to house(s) ruled by mars to see where quagmires of anger play out. also consider planets in orb aspect to mars to see where helpers or hinderers come into play.
neptune de-fuses & diffuses mars because neptune doesn't deal with forceful action well. mars gets thwarted and p*issed off at this. mars guns his engines to get out/away, but that just embeds him more. the water gets sandmudded and then mars has to decide to wait for tidal change or do the getting free in muddied water.
always be cautious of "escapes" from anger and frustration through substances, sex, overwork, etc.
neptune has a bad habit of convincing other planets that "everything will be just fine," when in fact, he often makes matters worse with his lack of accountability.
this aspect is the poster child for "i didn't do it!" defenses, so at best, play close attention to your own actions as you would an outsider's. it is an easy time for getting self into a bad situation.

Need the chart. Does Neptune contact you Mars in the natal chart?Cant possibly make a comment without the whole picture.

Hi poshslob, thanks for posting this question. I have the same transit to mars in the 5th happening. I'm the same as you--terrified by all I've read about how it's the transit for "being framed" or suffering scandal or something.
I'll post my chart. Anyone who may shed some advice on handling it would be tremendously appreciated! cheers!

Well I was quite right to be concerned. One year later after I read ahead of this transit and now I've a fresh graduate who can't get work! Surprisingly, I've read many people with this transit saying it 'drove them nearly mad'. I would not have expected that with this transit, but that's exactly what's happening to me.

Neptune is my 10th ruler (precisely the problem) square Mars (motivation, action) which rules my 10th of Aries (disposing the Sun, Jupiter and North Node) and it is really, really difficult. With those planetary positions and the nature of this aspects I'd say: self-respect is very low right now. I absolutely attach my confidence to my work and I can't get work.

When t. Neptune was in late aqua, I was having a t square with t. Neptune, n Neptune and n mars... T. Neptune was in my h12...

I spent the entire time living in a day dream state.... I would "live" in these day dreams, from being on some reality tv show, to traveling the world...
No matter what I was doing working etc... My mind was off in dream land...

I couldn't live in reality during that time... I had relationships and u name in it this world...lol
