Re: Dark moon lilith placements
Hello,
I am new here. I was wondering if you or anyone else could assist me in finding out how to interpret my lilith placement in my chart?
I have lilith in the 9th house at 23 degrees conjunct Pluto at 27degrees both are in the sign of Virgo.
I am very interseted in this interpretation since I have read things about dark moon lilith, but most have been very negative. None of the sources that I have read actually talk about aspects that lilith can make to natal planets.
I need some help. Can you assist? I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

Re: Dark moon lilith placements
I have seen 24Deg. Sag show up in many charts that had substance abuse troubles. I have my Moon it at this Degree.
Some examples of this are Jimi Hendrix,Beethoven,Gia(the model) and a bunch of others. I think Janis Joplin had this degree also.
On a positive note there are other notables that had this degree highlighted and did not suffer any substance abuse, but I would be conscious about it.
You have to know which BML you are using also. Refer to the threads that discuss this point to see what is written.

Re: Dark moon lilith placements
Do a search for BML or Lillith and there are several threads devoted to it that can tell you way more than I could. I have been working on the ALcohol thread and saw your BML degree.
The Lillith threads you can pose a question to that thread and someone that is more knowledgable then myself will get an Email and answer your questions.
The only thing I think of Lillth is as being a subconscious factor to my personality.
I have it conjunct my ascendant which is Cancer.

Assuming you are talking of Black Moon Lilith as provided on different software, your pseudonym could well provide indication of what this calculated point means to you because BML can refer to an image but which is unreal in a physical sense.
Every single chart I have with Black Moon Lilith in Virgo has referred to a deeply hidden feeling one has regarding the 'supposed' imperfection of the physical body that bears no resemblance to, or distorts reality. One can feel dirty, unclean, cheap, 'messed up', feeling more 'wrong' than 'right' about situations although, in retrospect, they usually have it by the 'right' end. With Pluto this could take on an obsessional 'form'; a person can be super critical which creates the personal demons that torment from within until they are seen for what are .....nothing to be feared! Or, a person must be prepared to follow the 'gut instinct' to obtain the evidence of proof that others do not see.
BML in Virgo can feel 'bad' when they are actually 'good' people because of the 'labels', as per unkind names, that can be applied to them.
There can be a natural affinity towards the understanding of, and working with symbolism, typical of Virgo, whether it's ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, math equations, quantum physics or 'hidden' languages. Once again, with Pluto, there is a deep inner need 'to go where no man has gone before' to find the answers. Obviously 9th house cultures and beliefs (and the influence of the Virgin?) will also play a role.
I have seen 9th house BML's coincide to foreign kin of which one was not aware, the 'foreign' tag applied whereby one does not feel to belong, the 'persona non-grata', but also to the 'rich in their own right'. BML in Virgo obviously has a keen business sense, a head for figures and, with Pluto, an intense fear of poverty in all its forms.
BML's aspects to other planets will be the channel through which its first nature instinct of the defining form of Virgo can surface. Aspects to the outer planets has always shown an affinity with the para-normal and super- natural aspects of life.

Re: Dark moon lilith placements
Thank you so much F for helping me to understand this placement. I agree with your insight. I have always felt "messed up" as you put it. Due to others not truly understanding who I am and my nature. There have been many moments in my life where others have percieved me or my words, actions in a certain way and thus tagged me as the "demon". How they were so wrong.
Foriegn cultures do attract me a lot. I love meeting others from other countries and learning different languages. I also have my moon in Virgo in the 9th. I am also very, very connected to beings of other worlds and the paranormal. I have many other indicications of these connections in my chart as well. I am very much apart of this world and the other, mostly the other.
Well, anyway, I will pay attention on how to work my way through this aspect so that it can benefit my soul growth and not hinder it.
One thing in your response though, I wasn't sure about how the Virgin could play apart in this placement. Did you mean Virgin Mary?
Again Thanks a lot.

I don't want to get too personal on a forum, so will try to keep to astro. symbolism only which you can interpret as it applies to you.
Saturn and BML both have rulership over reality, but with Saturn it's the manifested reality and with BML it's the powerful force of the inner reality (images). But put them both together AND in an Earth sign, then something can physically manifest through Saturn that produces the creative images. good or bad, through BML; OR BML produces images to which Saturn can give structure and form. Saturn's ruling house(s) should provide more information regarding such images.
'Black' has shown itself to be a real coincidental theme in Saturn-BML situations. Not only 'black outs' (trance?) of BML that Saturn has to keep in check but also the black dress, habit, suit, skin, raven hair that produces a positive or negative image to or of the individual that creates feelings of Saturn guilt and/or irresponsibility.
Apart from the creative self, the 5th house is associated with the child/parent relationship, one's own children, lovers, hobbies, gambling....and probably more. I have charts with a 5th house BML that coincide with parent unknown and/or abandonment, single parent, children of colour, lovers from another race, homosexuality/lesbianism, cloth designing, compulsive gambling (but it was to Scorpio Sun!). The absolute 'inner' fear of poverty and going without for Virgo could make its self-sufficency and Saturn's resourcefulness provide enough to go a long way. BML, if allowed to surface, can make its presence felt in showing that it is perfectly capable of doing so .
Just a few of many ideas to play around with.
