Will my daughter get married at all

Hi Everybody

"Will my daughter get married at all" This is the question asked by my friend in Toronto. Immediately I erected a chart in Toronto on 13th November,2007 (last year) at 4.15 PM , but opened the chart only now to study in detail. I have taken my friend as the querent representing Taurus and the owner Venus is in 6 (I do not know what it means). Her daughter 5th lord Sun in 7 and her would-be husband is Saturn. I find there is no meaningful aspect between sun and Saturn. But Moon as a co-significator trines Saturn . There are other good applying aspects of Moon with Mercury, Venus and Mars. I am stuck here not knowing how to proceed further, being a beginner in the forum. Request your help in interpretation. I do not know whether I am proceeding in the right line, like who is the Asc. in this case, me or my friend , 11th house and its owner

So, I am back.
Indeed, daughter is Sun in Scorpio, angular and in term of Mercury. This shows a very strong woman who actually has two different things in mind or who is undecided. Mercury rules her 2nd and her 10th. Is she a career women? She might not really want to get married because she likes to keep her financial independence? Who knows.
Anyways, her prospective husband is indeed Saturn and the North Node is found in her 7th house as well in term of Venus.

Indeed Venus and Saturn do not make an aspect but Saturn is placed in her 1st house (the daughters first) which is encouraging. Moon, the co-significator of the daughter will also trine Saturn in about 3 somethings. Moon is slow, the sign Capricorn is cardinal and the Moon is in a cadent house. I would reckon that in about 3 years she might get married . Venus, the traditional ruler of relationships will sextile the daughters first house in about 5°. This could show a potential opportunity to meet someone in maybe 5 months. Venus is cadent but very strong and can act fast-

The Part of Marriage and the Part of Fortune are both in her 10th house, which could mean that the future husband could be found in her career surroundings (if she has a career and works) or else in a public place.

End of the matter is ruled by the Moon, who first will trine Saturn, then square Venus and finally sextile the Sun which is usually very fortunate.

I really think that your friends daughter will marry some day. I wished I had a bit more background and the reason why your girlfriend thinks that her daughter wont marry. Her birthchart would also throw light on this by the way.

The family from their home country, India, has settled in Canada and they are canadian citizens now. The girl is a career woman working for a good firm in Toronto. As per their community traditions marriages are fixed by the parents. They seek suitable alliances thru.friends and relatives in their own community, excahange horoscopes for compatibility, then arrange for the boy and girl to see each other and after obtaining their mutual consent ,fix the marriage. The stumbling block in this process is the boys side make huge demands as cash and jewellary from the girls party, which the girl is not prepared to concede on principle, eventhough the parents , being moderately rich and well-to-do, are ready to meet the demands. The girl is stubborn in her views saying marriage only when there is no demand from the other side. In this situation ,no suitable boys are availale in the last 5 years and the mother is worried.

The native chart birth details of the girl(as desired by you :
DOB: June 15,1982; TOB:1.40PM; Place:Madras(India)

Pl. review again in this context for any additional interpretation

Pl. also confirm whether the North Node placement in 7th house will bring a different National native into her picture

Hello Kannan, thank you very much for the additional background. I must say that I admire this girl and I am glad that she has a saying in her own future. She is still young (maybe not in the eyes of the Indian people, that I dont know. My own dochter is 36 and not married yet, also a career woman, but nowadays it does not matter to marry a bit later, probably even better with all the divorces going on!!)

I am not sure if the future husband will be foreigner. Ruler of her 7th house, Saturn, is in her 1st house. She is Indian, so probably the prospective husband as well. Also, now that we know this, you can see that with ruler of her 7th in her 1st, the girl wants the boy on her term. The prospective husband could also be an older man, not someone of her own age. (Saturn).
Also it means that marriage wont come at a very early age.

A foreign husband can be seen from the ruler of the 7th in the 9th house. There is no such thing in her chart. Only thing I do see, is that the ruler of the girls 9th, Venus, falls in her 2nd (support) in the sign of Libra (partnership). So maybe this means that she is looking for a husband of foreign origin who can support her financially. North Node in the 7th only means that a marriage would be good for her in horary astrology.

The mother should not worry. Her daughter knows what she wants and I find it admirable that she does not want a prospective husband to let her parents pay through their noses in order to get a husband

About the natal chart. It is best if you were to post a question in the natal astrology forum, separate from Horary. Maybe someone can help you further there. Unfortunately I have very limited time to look into natal charts at the moment and as moderator I also have to "watch "over the forum which takes time.
