Glykeria's Natal Chart Interpretation

I have received another request by a new member for a natal chart interpretation, and encouraged by the success of Greta86's Board, I have decided to extend the same courtesy to Glykeria.

Thank you all for your contributions...as I do not yet feel comfortable giving anything but the most basic of interpretations, I remain your humble servant

Aquarian Maverick

P.S. I even remembered to add Lilith to the chart! I am quite proud of myself for this, especially since we are still in the midst of a Mercury Retrograde

Aquarian,
Thanks for the start. I am such a novice at this I really appreciate all help. I think that thos symbols are interesting to say the least I am attempting to decipher what they actually mean for me and have found some earlier posts on the subjet that proved very informative. I also am wondering if it might be a time for a career change, I am a nurse in an inner city hospital I feel I am making a difference but I no longer feel "it" I feel like it has become routine and that is sad for me I guess I think I could be doing more to help it is kind of funny that I ended up as a RN anyway as I always and still do feel a pull toward the Law, but the thought of judging people is something I do not belive I would ever be capable of. But as I metioned earlier I have been searching for a greater understanding lately and I am not sure where to get it at.

Hi Glykeria.

Pluto is squaring Saturn in your 10th house of career from your 6th house of work. It's also squaring Chiron which is known as the wounded healer. Saturn and Chiron are in Pisces and Pluto is currently in Sag. These are mutable signs so there is pressure but not necessarily a requirement to turn things upside down. Mutable signs are great at adapting to whatever is required. Most of your planets are Mutable and in water which really makes you go with the flow so to speak. I think the toughest transit you're going through is Neptune transting your 9th house in Aquarius squaring Mars in Taurus in 12 and coming soon to your Sun also in Taurus in 12. Neptune sits in your 6th house of work and rules the 10th house of career...no wonder you feel tested in this area. This involves fixed signs too which makes you feel like you can't adapt to this challenge.

Transiting Pluto in your 6th house (at the cups of 7) is coming into square Saturn in Pisces in 10 of career as well. This is a tough transit as you are faced with this notion of meaning as found in a career as opposed to doing what's necessary to survive in work. In fact, resources may be thin and it's tough to get by.

Meantime Jupiter, ruler of your 7th house of marriage and partnership has been teasing you as it approached Neptune wondering if the perfect job is out there but now it's in retrogrande making it's way back into 5 of self -expression helping you expand your sense of creativity and fun in general..outside of your work and career. Of course by doing so you can tap into the Venus side of yourself which is on the other side of yourself in the 11th house of community, friends, hopes, wishes and fired up by Aries.

You have Venus in Aries and Mars in Taurus which is called a mutual reception. This is a sharing of energy between the yin and yang here and between the 11th and 12th houses as well as the houses these planets rule which are 6 and 11 for Mars and 12 and 5 for Venus. This tells me that you can live a double life! You can have your work and your vocation. I'm kind of doing that also as I have my day job and I moonlight as an astrologer (I don't make any money just look for fun and sense of contribution to others).

I suggest you go that route for now to find what really interests you and pursue that as your moonlighting activity (assuming you have time). I'm thinking it's creative maybe writing with Mercury in Taurus in 11 also sextiling both Moon and Jupiter and trine Jupiter and Pluto in Virgo in 4. Saturn is also coming into to square that Mercury though which gives you somewhat of a depressive outlook. But it will move on and you should be in a better mood.

The restlessness you are beginning to feel is just a taste with the real magilla coming next year as Uranus continues to move through your 10th house and will oppose itself. This is the midlife crisis marker. Not only will Uranus oppose itself and the Pluto conjunct it in your 4th house of roots, family and it's Virgo sense of duty, it will be squaring Jupiter in Cancer in your first house. Not sure if you have a family but you might feel like ditching it with these aspects and running away with the gardner. Hey we all feel like that from around this time so give yourself a break and find your passion. Begin to develop that and it will help you transition into something better or give you balance in your life while dealing with the necessary duties and responsibilites.

Kite

Wow!!!! Wounded healer definetly me. So what do you think not a great time to really change vocations. I am truely struggling with the meaning of my work, I know it is a meaningfull occupation but as I said before I just don't feel like I am making a difference anymore.
I can't wait for more of this restless feeling thanks Uranus see ya next year.
I have always thought I was somewhat creative and writing is an outlet that I do enjoy maybe now would be a good time to try that.
Mutual reception I am happy I am balanced by Mars and Venus good to know as I have always thought I was slightly off balanced. I really appreciate the input and time you spent investigating my chart.
I do have a demanding family husband, children, parents, siblings and in-laws and yes I do feel like ditching them once in awhile, but I don't have a gardener  Oh well
Thakns again I am looking forward to any other interpertations please

Dear Glykeria,

I can offer a quick sketch of how I see your Natal chart.

I cannot say much more than Kite did about your current and upcoming events without birth information which would allow me to do a progressed chart on you, unless Aq Mav is willing to post one for us.

Natal chart--

Friendly and flakey -- willing to try out the unproven, that's how I would characterize someone with this chart..

Gemini Ascendnat makes you friendly. Ascendant conjunct Jupiter -- you are naive, you are honest -- sometimes overly honest -- and you like to try new things, which may include travel or reading or higher learning, anything where you are able to see how it feels to walk in someone else's shoes. Your approach is to be generous, although other areas of the chart suggest you can go both ways -- stingy and generous too.

Pisces Moon conjunct Pisces Midheaven means you are shaping your career around being maternal or motherly in a way which attempts to heal others or find healing for yourself through exploring the mysterious. Career is a very important area for you, and you do two things -- (1) offer healing and (2) receive healing through your career. You like being needed (Pisces) -- having others be dependent on you, and you shape your career, to some extent, around being dependent on others.

Sun is in Taurus in the Pisces House (12th house), which means you are shaping your life around the same themes, needing and being needed, and exploring the unknown. Sun conjuncts Mars -- you are assertive, opssibly at ease with your "male" energies.

Three planets in Taurus -- you may be stubborn and are probably good with money. You may have trouble keeping your weight down because there is the tendency to draw things in toward yourself. Taurus has a natural greediness or frugality. It wants to be given to without wanting to give back.

That's all I can offer. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the look. I have been known to be a little flakey at times, ok alot flakey I am maternal or I have felt maternal the urge to take care of pets, people , children has always been something in me it is funny but I always thought I would have lots of children  but I didn't . Lately the intense urge to take care of the entire world has overcome me or at least my corner of it. I have always been empathetic and wanted to "walk in the other persons shoes" So I would say that you hit it pretty much right on the head. I am friendly and do have a tendency to be selfish and gain weight The only thing I really don't see in me is the naive part I have always felt like an "old soul" I can relate to every walk of life with ease and not many people can pull the wool over my eyes.
Thanks for the info hope Aquarian Maverick posts the needed info.

Here's what I see:

Progressed Sun just entered Cancer. You are entering a 30-year period when you are shaping your life around being motherly and caring for others (I know, I know, you feel like you've spent most of a lifetime already doing this). Previously, your overall experience of your life was focused on friendliness. Perhaps this change indicates that you are ready to begin focusing on feeling more "at home" with your own self.

Progressed Ascendnat is about to enter Leo. You have been approaching the world as a place that required your assistance. Perhaps now it will become a stage for your activities, a place where you will discover more of your own creativity, rather than satisfying the emergencies of others.

Progressed Venus is conjuncting (for past six months or so, and for next six months or so) your Natal North Node and Progresed North Node. Venus shows what gives you happiness (for most people this involves money) and how you experience your own femininity. North Node is the direction your karma is carrying you. With the two connected this way, I would say you are ready to aim all your energies at your own happiness.

(Note that for me, astrology is sometimes like translating a foreign language. We take the components and try to interpret the meaning of their positions, in relation to each other and the signs. It's not always a clear process.)

Progressed Moon in 1st; Transiting Saturn in 3rd. These two positionings -- Progressed Moon and Transiting Saturn -- should reveal the thrust of what you are currently experiencing. First progressed house is like an awakening. Natal third house is communication and adjustment to change (someone else will define these somewhat differently -- explore what other people say).

I'd interpret this to mean you are being dragged into change while enjoying some kind of renewed vigor or awakened energy.

Back at the beginning, you asked if you should do something. Was your question that you wanted to know if you should enter school or change your career?

I'd say your Progressed Leo Ascendant will make you ready for more fun, and your Progressed Cancer Sun will make you ready to be more at ease with your own personal self. That Venus conjunction to your North Node would make you ready to do what you need to do for your own self.

Only you can discover what that might be! -- C Jayne

To Glykeria,

I've read the postings to your questions just out of curiosity, as I felt quite surprised by the data of your birth. You see, I was born on February 13th, 1966, at 13.30 pm. The place of my birth, though, is Athens, Greece. I thought that there must be a connection between these, for if I'm not mistaken, your name indicates that you must be of greek origin. I've been interested in astrology for the past 20 years, but since last December it has almost become a necessity to deepen my knowledge of it. I would definetely appreciate a reply from you or by anyone who thinks there is a connection.

Amelia. :?:

Amelia,
yes my name is greek I married into a culture that I love and have
embraced. My name was picked for me as you probably already know from the saints day. I am really not a sweet virgin ops: I was baptized orthodox to raise my children in 1 church, 1 faith kind of thing. But if you have been reading my posts and you have been inside a greek church you must know that I am not fitting in lately. The church we belong here is the oldest in our city and the most traditional. I am not getting what I need spiritually from there, and have been led to look elsewhere thats how I ended up here, just search for knowledge. How are you handling the Uranus oppisition that must of been what is making you want to have a deeper knowledge, from what I am learning it causes much upheval only time will tell. been to Anthens, maybe on our next trip we could meet always nice to put faces to the internet.

From amelia,

Thanks aq.mav. for your instant responce. And, glykeria, "owing money to you" from a past life... is that greedy Taurus talking? :? I can see a connection in our synastry chart, mostly due to our common ascendant and the fact that we were born so closely in time, puts our slow outer planets very close to each other. As a first hint, I'd like to say that as a child I wanted to become a doctor, but life, fortune, the stars - call it whatever you like - had other plans for me.

BTW, although I'm a baptised orthodox I' ve never felt too tied with church. Rebellius Uranus made me feel free to combine my faith with my belief that astrology is a tool that really works. The more I study, the more I feel the presence of a mighty force behind all these and I don't mind what other people think (my aquarian side speaking), I like connecting it with God ( my gemini side speaking).

I've never mentioned this to my parents though, because this would be an insult to their traditional greek upbringing. On the other hand, my husband and sons see it more as a game. Most people in Greece joke about astrology, nevertheless, each one of them reads the respective daily columns in newspapers, or, watches the morning TV programs. Then, when bad luck hits them, they say "Oh! It's that Mercury Retrograde"

I think I've talked too much today. Now I have housework and homework to do (I believe this is my Uranus in Virgo, 4th speaking).

amelia.

Glykeria, you can send me a private message, if you want to.
